IGF protocol for injury?

I know theres often a lot of talk over spot injections and the debate as to localised effect etc. But things are often mentioned from a bodybuilding point of view.

Im about to start a IGF LR3 cycle and am mainly looking for some injury/post surgery benefits.

I had an opperation on both legs,for Medial Tibial Stress Syndrome and slight Compartment Syndrome in both inner shins.

Lots of people have told me to just Subq it and not worry. But people are often mentioning shooting it Post workout into the muscle just worked.

My workouts are often more conditioning based,so although i will have resistance work, they wont be specific split routines,more like circuits with fullbody movements/bodyweight movements.

Ive also heard conflicting ideas as to how much. Lots of guys stick on it for days on end,or 5 days on/2 off. I was thinking of 3x a week on my training days,to keep receptors fresh and still have enough to get a good dosage per inection

Can anybody advise me as to where and when i should inject?
