IGF-1 Hypoglycemia

Definitely experiencing mild hypoglycemia in the mornings while taking a Phosphatidic Acid EAA drink from MPA supplements. I’m also on TRT and on a bulking diet. My doctor recommends I take Metformin to battle insulin resistance based off my low blood sugar recent lab test. I mainly feel it in the morning and sometimes I’m bad with not eating right when I wake up, maybe wait 45 minutes to start eating. Is metformin good to take if you are battling low blood sugar and not high? I’d like to know your guys protocol to safely rise your blood sugar during hypoglycemia from increased IGF levels. Thank you. Btw my blood sugar was very low on my last mid-day lab, 40 according to the doctor which I don’t believe was accurate because I felt fine.

If you improve insulin sensitivity, and thus improve metabolic flexibility, you will feel normal with low blood sugar. Opt for berberine HCL, which will aid in improving insulin sensitivity. Typically consuming less meals/including shakes will help improve metabolic flexibility.
