My moms friend has muscular dystrophy. What do you think about IGF-1 to help with the effects of MD?

No no no, I definitely wouldn't start playing doctor here.

Not only that, people with muscular dystrophy do produce hIGF-1. The problem they have is that they can't seem to express the MGF variant. It is THOUGHT that this is one of the reasons for their conditions. And no buying MGF would not really help here either as she would have to have some sort of continuous therapy for the rest of her life with it.

Even then it might not fully help since gene expression has also thought to be the blame.
