Roasted Garlic Clove Spread
so easy and so nutritious!
4 whole garlic bulbs (or more)
Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Cut the pointed tops off of the garlic bulbs so that the flesh of the cloves is exposed. Pull some of the skin off of the outside, but not all.
Place in a glass baking dish, skin side down.
Drizzle each bulb with olive oil.
Bake at 400 for about 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
Remove from oven and turn upside down so that oil drains over garlic for about 2-5 minutes.
The Garlic is now so soft that it will pop right out of the skin and you can spread on your favorite whole wheat cracker. Add salt if you'd like.
