My Labs
Free T4 = 1.23ng/dL range(0.80-1.76)
Free T3 = 3.4pg/dL range (2.3-5.0)
TSH = 1.43 uIU/mL range (0.40-4.00)

Body temperature generally sits at 96.5-97.4 degrees, but some mornings after a caffeine drink it will randomly shoot up to around 100 degrees(this part is rare).

If my body temp is only 96.5-97.4ish and never rests higher than that, am I subclinically hypothyroid?

Hi Mward97,

Your temps will be low the first 3 to 4 hrs. in the morning. You labs look good to me. I you don't drink enough water your temps can show low.

Or you need to check your Cortisol, Aldosterone and Renin levels. Here is a great link about this.

Never had my aldosterone tested, but my cortisol is above normal max range. I was on high dose oral corticosteroids as a child and it gave me Hypercortisolism. Doc is going to put me on 200-250mg propionate a week to help counteract the symptoms of no sex drive and inability to gain weight.

Blood is just 20% of the equation doctors often miss the other 80% mainly what is occurring at the receptors level. Totally missed...

Go to a bunch of different doctors until you find one that can help. As weird as it may sound it ended up being my rheumatologist that help figure out my hypothyroidism wrong my spine at the C1 C2 level and my low absorption to testosterone. It's all about how smart that doctor truly is not what they learned in school and how much they give a ****. Keep searching for that good doctor my friend and best of luck. I truly hope you find out what's going on as I just found some relief to some life-threatening symptoms (strokes due to hypo that GP Saud was fine, fkr) of mine and I'm thanking God everyday.

Solution - using common sense often leads to the majority of the solution to complex problems.

What do you mean? I have no idea how to fix resistance at receptors

Don't pay much attention to Matrix. He talks in circles with terminology that's difficult for the lay person to understand. Follow the advice of the post above his and keep shopping around for a Dr who will listen. See if you can find an Integrative Medicine Dr in your area. They are into treating the problem and not the symptoms. I hope that helps.

Look what happens when you enter "cortisol resistance" in the search ..

Amazing how you can reach neurochemistry to a 6 year old, but medical professionals are still scratching their hands some times ..

Talking in circles allows one to come to a logical solution..
