I apologize, I wasn't aware I was in the online presence of someone who harbors such a vast reservoir of intelligence as yourself.
Forgive me for recommending a healthy lifestyle which so many nutritionist and doctors recommend. I'm sure the 1000's of studies that conflict with your OPINION have many flaws and are in no way scientific.
Instead of cherry picking points I made, actually read my post next time. I never actually said or implied that you said you replaced all of your meals with fast food. I simply illustrated a hypothetical situation which supported the point I was trying to make which is fast foods are nutritionally "hollow".
A person may keep your macros up by eating fast food, but there is much more to it than macros when it comes to nutrition. Surely someone who "studies" nutrition like yourself would be cognizant of that fact.
Eating a Big Mac, some cheap whey and some Cell Tech with a multi vitamin does not cut it plain and simple.
Fast food is not healthy. FACT. You trying to argue this point is futile whether its just a cheat meal, 30% of total calories or 100% of the time like the bodybuilder you "know".
Fast food contains excessive amounts of sodium. This disturbs your body's electrolyte equilibrium, increases blood volume and thus blood pressure. This leads to heart disease.
The carbs in a hamburger bun spike your insulin which triggers a whole cascade of negative metabolic and hormonal events which can lead to diabetes.
The meat you eat is usually not 100% beef but a mixture of beef and fillers some of which are xenoestrogens or phytoestrogens. These modulate your estrogen receptors which cause unwanted hormonal changes.
The saturated fat you ingest during one of these meals has been correlated time after time with heart disease.

Look, I formulated products in the nutraceutical industry for many years. This required a rigorous understanding of the complex dynamics between chemistry, biology, nutrition and economics (which isn't important for this discussion but whatever). I have a M.S. in chemical engineering with a minor in chemistry and a B.S. in Applied Nutrition. The point is, I am not talking out of my ass or just trying to be a dick. I am genuinely concerned that what you are saying is what you actually believe or worse yet, someone else will believe what your saying is true when in fact it is false.
In summary, fast food is bad for you. That is all.
