I don't understand something about the Supp Auction

Ok when there are new posts and you click on "new posts" normal new posts show up in bold. The ones that have no new replies are usually in regular typeface. Now I re-did my Auction posts. So now everytime I click "new posts" it shows up in bold as if there was a new reply....What is going on with this?

I know before the current setup you could choose an option to make your ad bold. Maybe that's the default option now.
