I’m just not that strong (yet)!

Good-looking bench day! Enjoy the Halloween festivities with your family and church. We’ve hit a couple trunk or treats now; my son is 5 and loves his Green Power Ranger costume so much. Supposed to maybe rain a little Halloween morning but be clear for trick or treating! So he’s excited.

Then once he’s tired we usually order a pizza and pass out candy for the stragglers while watching a movie.

Halloween has like 3 great stages. First you are the kid who is excited. Then you're a young adult who's excited for different reasons (nurses at bars, for instance), then you have a kid who is excited.

Wife and I have zero plans. I told her maybe we should do something since house will be completely empty. :devilish::devilish:

my buddy invited us out to a party but after saturdays farm chores we didn't really wanna go spend $38ea on tickets to stand shoulder to shoulder with people buying $20 drinks in a venue too loud to hear eachother, haha.

Yeah those are stupid. What’s best without kids is if a friend has a costume party at their house, or staying home to a movie to pass out candy (or just eating some 😝).

It was a solid bench day for me.

Our kids are really into the Peanuts right now so we are all dressing on that theme. Kids are funny what they get into.

I listen to the Vince Guaraldi Trio Charlie Brown Christmas album every time it snows 😄❄️

Since having kids I’m all in on Christmas starting in November…. I told my wife I may start jamming out to Christmas tunes Sunday! Lol

Love the Charlie Brown Christmas album!

Green Ranger is awesome. Great choice!

Solid weekend with the family!

245 felt harder than 270 which went very fast so figure that one out. Going to stick to easy conditioning mostly this week to rest up and try to hit some solid jokers on week three of the anchor. The anchor block is very similar to the leader so it should go well!

Hope everyone had a good/fun weekend! Also, the time change sucks!

your mention of the christmas stuff cracks me up. back in the 90s around age 15-16 when my folks were getting their first real "tech", we had this receiver and a 5 disk cd changer on their 'big screen' (you know, the ones that weighed 700lbs). anyways, they're updating/bluetooth etc and were giving away their 90s receiver and cd player so I took both cause I think they're as good as modern and my wife and I are stuck in the 90s and still have all our old CD's.

I had it for a couple months before I decided to hook it up this weekend and once I powered it up and opened it, there were 5 christmas CD's loaded in it my parents forgot about 😂 😂

we set those aside, loaded up some nirvana, nickelback, shinedown, no doubt, and snow patrol lol.

Don't laugh, because that's still the set up we use at home! Big 'ol giant black receiver, weighs a metric ton, sitting on top of a 5 disk changer. We don't ever listen to CDs, so not sure why we haven't changed the set up.
