Wanna give a huge thanks to Performax for letting me log their amazing product Hypermax.

My usual workouts are going to have to take a back seat for the next two weeks so I can get ready for the State Police Physical test. I will be focusing on the three main components were tested on which are push-ups, sit-ups, and mile and a half run. Right now my stats are ok a little help with endurance and recover time is what I'm hoping for and of course the energy boost for test day. I'll get some pics up soon and I'll layout my normal workouts after next week.

Today's run was a good one I should have waited a little longer after dinner and drinking my Hypermax, I felt like I was gonna puke by the end.

This stuff is crazy by the way. It mixes better then most pwo I've had recently, had a good pump in my legs too.

Had another ass kicker of a run I did. 7:10 mile which really sucked afterwards but I'm happy with it after not having run for a long time. Sit-ups are my weak point for some reason I cramp up bad after about 25 in a row.
 
Did you take Hyper before your run? I find it stims me up too much for a run. I like to take our Fitmax before I head out for a run. Less stim but very similar focus and endurance. U do anything besides situps for abs?
 
In! And agreed Fitmax is better for cardio, I couldn't imagine Hypermax before a run. Or sprint, walk, nearly pass out, sprint, walk, nearly pass out like I do lol.

I did take it before my run yes it's a little to much I think, I hate doing abs lol but just sit-ups for now until I take this test this week.

Not over the weekend I was away for my brother in laws wedding two more days after today and I can really get into my normal schedule.
 
So tomorrow is test day I am not going to take Hypermax I dont want any variable to mess me up. I did a 11:35 mile and a half today and it was humid as crap here today and tomorrow it's gonna be cooler so I'm good to go. I am going to take peak beta + to get a little extra endurance out of myself.

Any other advice on what to eat before would be appreciated. I'm gonna slug some pedis lite in the AM too keep the electrolytes going.

Hey sorry just seeing this. Good luck on your test dude, just jump into the hypermax when you're all wrapped up. As far as what to eat before I'd keep it light and something you know won't distress you. I actually prefer to run fasted with some BCAA's before but if it's not early in the morning that's not really an option. Let us know how it goes!
 
I on this. Hope the exam went well. A co worker of mine passed his physical test for the CT state troopers, but failed the poly lol
 
We'll I passed the test didn't do as well as I'd have liked but my calf cramped right as I layer down to do my sit-ups and it killed through that and the mile and a half run. But it's all over and back to my regular schedule.

Congrats! Bad timing on the calf cramp, unlike Lebron you pushed through it.
 
I haven't but today I will be doing chest n shoulders so update is coming.
 
Well I was finally able to really dive in with Hypermax. I did a nice chest an shoulder workout, I didn't kill myself but got a solid workout in for sure.
I took a heaping scoop about 30 mins prior and was ready to roll by the time I got there.

My first impression was the obvious flushing and a little increased heart rate. The energy isn't crazy more of a stamina to keep you moving through your workout. Now here's a few numbers keep in mind I have been out of the gym for a bit.

Incline DB press 5x5 finished my last set with 65's
Hammer press 8x4 started with 95lbs finished with 180lbs
Pec dec 10x3 60lbs focusing on a slow squeeze
Decline cable press 15x2 30lbs focusing on squeeze again

DB shoulder press 5x5 40's for one set then finished with 45's
DB front raise 8x4 25's. I have bad shoulders so I need to go light with these
Side raise machine 10x3 50lbs I was starting to get gassed by my last set
Rear fly 15x2 65lbs I did a nice burner on my last set here to finish off

Hypermax really helps with just getting my butt back in gear it's so easy to plop on the couch after work and stay there but if feels great to be back in there.
 
Nice work getting back in there! Are you pretty stim tolerant? I'm good with one scoop as I'm a cheap date with stims, lol. Try a scoop and a half next lifting session, should be plenty of energy for ya.

That's how I feel too. I see people mixing all kinds of stims, I can't believe they can even workout that stimmed out.

Good call. My first time using Hypermax, I used two scoops. That was a bad move. I had a little too much energy and focus that went past my training session. Less is more with Hyermax.
 
Tonight's workout had to be at home I did a little legs. Did some body squats, lunges, and standing calf raises. I did three circuits till failure. Had a great pump still even though it was just body weight.
 
Unfortunately I haven't been hitting iron much, very busy time of year with school ending for my wife and to many weddings, I hope to get a solid 4 days this week before my cousins wedding Saturday and then have to keep going through the holiday weekend.
 
Had a nice back workout tonight. Went very row heavy which always gives me a great pump throw Hypermax in an I was busting my shirt. Warmup. Pulldowns 15,12,10,10 x150lbs need to loosen the shoulders up DB row- 8,6,4,4 x 60,70,80,90 Machine row- 5x5-80,90,100,110,110 Underhand cable row- 4x8-120,135,150,150 Straight arm pulldown- 3x10-80 focus on a squeeze Shrugs- 2x15- 150 again getting a good squeeze Rear machine fly- 3x10-60 this was a drop set just as a finisher. Again I had the energy to keep going doing back is kinda hard for me with bad shoulders, my ROM makes some movements uncomfortable, but it's always a solid workout.
 
Maybe Hypermax has a greater purpose haha. It does sound a little dirty I guess but a lot of pwo don't last or make me feel ill by the end of my workout

Just got some cardio in last night wasn't able to make the gym. Wife and I took our son for a stroll on the boardwalk and went on some rides. Made sure it was a brisk a walk I could. Back in for a leg workout tonight.
 
Well I pushed legs off till this morning I have a wedding tonight so I wanted to match sure I could cut a rug on the dance floor. I kept it pretty simple but it was effective for sure.

Warmup
Leg ext 2x15
Squats 5x5 finished with 225 I had a little left but I wanna be able to walk tomorrow
Leg ext 4x8
SLDL 3x10.
Leg press 2x15 turned toes out n wide stance
Standing calfs 2x15
Seated calfs 4x8

Energy was good for my early. AM workout Hypermax really helped push through the last few sets of squats. I'm sure my stairs will be my mortal enemy for the next few days.
 
Didn't have much time for tonight's workout so I did some shoulders I was in an out in under an hour. I did kind of a circuit workout all db's 4 sets of 15 with a 2 min break. Arnold press Front raise Side raise Rear flys Had a nice pump afterwards it sucks when time is against you and causes a wrench to be thrown into your normal routine. I guess any workout is better then none at all.
 
It's good to throw a little something different in once on a while, keeps your body guessing.

My cardio for next 3 or 4 days will be 2 new landscape projects. Ugh
 
You'd be surprised how much u can get in under an hour! I have to lift over my lunch break which equals about 40 minutes of actual workout time. It forced me to really cut down on rest times and keep a quick pace. I've been seeing great gains this way and am pretty happy about it cause I was worried I wouldn't have enough time

That storm forced me to do some landscaping last night. Let's just say I've got plenty of wood to burn in our firepit I built!
 
Yea that storm is heading my way plus the tropical storm coming up the coast I'm sure I'll be busy too
 
Had a nice HOT chest workout tonight, the gym had to be in the 80s. Hypermax played a huge part tonight I was about to bag it and say try again tomorrow. I slammed my shaker and off I went. Solid session from start to finish.

Incline DB. 5x5
Flat DB 4x8 slow negs n good squeeze
Pec deck 3x10
Decline bech 3x12-15
Dip machine 2x20

I was gonna do tris as we'll but I have a few BBQs this weekend and may get a bro arm workout in one day so I look "swole as fuark". Lol.
O yea got a family bike ride in afterwards too for a little light cardio.
 
Haha GTL before the BBQ. Nice you got a bike ride in, my cardio landscaping got washed out 20 mins into it. This Midwest weather has blown last 3 weeks.
