HydroMax -vs- Pure Vegetable Glycerine

HydroMax has been getting alot of hype lately. I can see arguing the benefit of HydroMax versus Glycerol Monostereate......HydroMax being 65% Glycerine and Glycerol being approx 5%.
My question is......wouldn't Pure liquid Vegetable Glycerine be BETTER than HydroMax?
HydroMax being 65% Glycerine.......Pure Vegetable Glycerine being 100% ??
Am I mising something.....or are we just comparing HydroMax to Glycerol because of the convenience of powder form?

5grams - GlycerolMono = 250mg Glycerine
5grams - HydroMax = 3.25g Glycerine
5grams - Vegetable Glycerine = 5g Glycerine
Right??

Interesting question.
I have seen some supps (RTDs) with straight Glycerol/Glycerine and recommendations for it from some "old timers". Most companies have seemed to shift to GMS, which I'm guessing is because is easier to work with in a powdered form. I'm not sure glycerol can be purchased in powdered form hence the use of GMS? This is just my guess on the topic.
