HydroBuiler Vs. Heavy Weight Gainer 900...WTF?

Hydrobuiler by Optimum is a blend of hydrowhey, egg, and casein. I heard casein, when mixed with whey hydrolisate, will slow or interrupt the absorption of the whey because it could be adding lactose by to they whey. Any truth? I see that Heavy Weight gainer 900 by Champion has a blend of beef protein, whey concentrate, Egg and hydrowhey, no casein. Regardless of carbs and calorie differences in these two products, which blend do you guys think would be more bioavailable? Im not asking which should I use, I use my own mix post workout. Im just throwing this idea out there. Thoughts anyone?

Protein is protein for the most part. Absorption rates are something of extremely little to no relevance. As far as beef proteins go they are not ground up sirlion, or quality meat, so that is not something I would want in my protein shakes.

Any protein powder will be about as effective as the next, if you want a 'builder' or higher calorie mix add your own carbs or fats. Its safer this way as most fats or carbs in builders are low quality creamers or sugars. Can never go wrong with oats, or for fats I have used shredded coconut and enjoyed it.

Whey will have the most leucine and be your best bet, just avoid spiked, cheap powders that have creatine/glutamine/aminos added.
