I was informed yesterday that apparently everybody that's all about lifting weights are just big crazy BALD a**holes. I thought this to be slightly off.. and so it got me thinking: what's everybody's dome look like? Is it really true that all of us are bald?.. (and crazy?.. and a**holes?) Like this guy --> :bb:

I was 230 very high fat so estrogen was probably through the roof, plus DHT so I was really starting to receed at the temples.

I started:

  • Working out
  • Controlling Estrogen with AI
  • Taking 320mg Saw Palmetto for DHT
  • Bought Nizoral 2% from Walmart
  • Massaging my temples with the Nizoral every other day with some good pressure making sure to move the scalp around to increase circulation and the shizzles growing back in

Much love,

I just have some grey hairs.

Pretty sure I'll have thinning later though. Both sides of my family do.

Looking back I definitely wish I would've taken an approach like this. I'm only 20 and my hair is very slightly receded, which is weird cause this sort of thing doesn't really usually happen in my family until at least in the 30s. Come to think of it I have a heavyset cousin whose a year younger than me and his hair situation is worse.

Point of my story is that I decided to take propecia and it totally f*cked my body and sex life, even after I stopped taking it, I guess I might be in a rare percentage, but man does it suck. Main reason I came to this forum in the first place is to try to figure out how to fix my hormones and regain my libido, since a good amount of people here seem pretty knowledgable on the subject.

I would've probably been totally fine making a few positive lifestyle changes, using nizoral, taking the shen min hair pills which contains saw palmetto, and maybe using the xandrox minoxidil formula.

If I can give one piece of advice it is to not take propecia!

Hey Skiba,

It's not over yet bro, don't give up so easy. The human body is quite amazing and can recover from many things give the right environment for healing.

1. Do you have bloodwork that will give you insight into what is wrong? If not this I highly recommend so you can see what foundation you are working with.

2. I read you are doing ResetAD yes?

3. What is your history with PH/PS/AAS?

4. Please list everything that you are / have taken within the last 1 - 3 months

I would love to see if I can help you in any way possible, cheer up

Your dwelling on "no hope for me we're all dooooooooomed" can make it so.....no doubt!

Much Love,

Neoborn

Yeah I've got a bloodwork done about 1-2 months ago, you can see at this thread ---- Invalid Link Removed.

Apparently I have low ACTH and ridiculously high progesterone, and lowish testosterone. I'm thinking adrenal fatigue may be where the issue lies.

Right now I'm taking Paravol, Reset AD, Dermacrine Sustain, and other basic stuff like multi-vitamins and fish oil. I'm thinking of adding Fenugreek.

It's been about 4/5 months since I've been off the propecia, I have had improvements, the psychological aspect is also something I think that needs to be overcome, having sex and barely being able to get it up and not even being stimulated by it or enjoying it hasn't been an easy thing to get over on the subconscious level.

I haven't done any steroids or pro-hormones or any of that kinda stuff, I probably never will either.

So far I think I'm on the right path, I've also quit caffeine, I'd like to quit cigarettes, but that's not easy, especially when I'm feeling like crap cause of the whole situation. But yeah things are getting better gradually, it' just painfully slow, the guys who had to be like this for like 3 years I really feel bad for, though I know I'm not gonna be like that. I definitely feel that some of the supplements have helped me out, and of course I've got a bottle of aspire36 tucked away in a hidden drawer in case I ever need it.

Thanks for your concern!

ha I feel ya man, some of us just get shafted with bad genetics in certain departments. I started receding at 18! Slowly began thinning on top over the next few years, I keep it buzzed at the very lowest level (like a 5 oclock shadow on my head) so its not very noticeable. But before I made that decision it was a real confidence killer day to day.. just kind of accepted it since my gpa had nearly the same situation! But in the end it's confidence that makes the man  and the ladies love to rub that head ... yeah, i just said that. :D

I could drink a bottle of halotestin and not lose one follicle... Hate me if you want haha but i also don't grow from gear much either so its a trade off.

Hair multiplication and maybe some other stuff is supposed to be coming out soon. By soon I mean like 2009, so for the price of a car, you will be able to buy yourself a permanent full head of hair.

I think for sure within the next decade this hair loss thing will be sorted out.

I just hope it does before my recession gets noticeable.

My hair is horribly thick. I need to get it thinned and cut every 8 days :-( My only problem is that i have some random gray hairs on the top of my head.

Invalid Link Removed (I'm on the right, of course)

Mine's gotten a little thinner in the back, but it's all still there. My older brother was shaving his head to hide the baldness when he was my age, so who knows. He's almost 7 years older than me.

Hmm Im really none of the above, but if anything it would be "full head of hair" my last cycle consisted of Test E/Deca/adex/topical spiro/niz/topical crinagen/nolva/aromasin.. and i noticed thinning especially in the fringe area. I think my hair is now thicker tho, at a guess and from what ive read perhaps the Spiro was the culprit from the temporary thinning sides and perhaps Test was the culprit for the permanent receding in the fringe area.

I wouldnt consider myself bad actually,

My hair is naturally VERY THIN all over (due to cytotoxic medicines when i was younger at 18 (was 4 yrs ago) - bone marrow transplant etc..)....never really grew back, so its thin, reallllll thin.

Funny thing is though, it doesnt get any thinner from DHT (non of my family have any receeding hair issues - ever, even at 92!) but it doesnt get any damn thicker either!

Id pay like $$$$$ to have my hair cells cloned and put on my head. AS i dont have enough hair to start with, doing any hair transplant would be hilarious as the hairs thin all over.

But I have my hair short, im a guy.....so its cool.

(sheds tear over in corner :o ) lol

Had LONG hair for many years but now I'm a baldy by choice, could grow it out again if I wanted but why bother ya know?

Same here. At one point my hair was almost 2 feet long. Loved it, but had to let it go. If it wasn't for my girl I'd go mohawk and save myself the cash on hair cuts. She said if my hair starts to receed she'd be okay with it though.

Well, to be honest - I'm dropping 7 Grand come the 26th - Bosely, ATL will be doing mine. I like my hair to much to shave it completely off.

I've read those procedures have come a LONG way - to the point where it looks completely natural. Curious though - what about the hair on your head that hasnt fallen out yet? Will you have to go back for surgery in another 5-10 years when your MPB progresses to areas of your scalp that are, right now, not thinning?

No - luckily it's just receeding in the front. It has been the same for years. The DR says the rest will be fine. He may give me a script (Propecia) just in case. 1mg a day shows no sides.

You may want to reconsider going with bosley because I've read that they really don't have much of a good reputation at all.

You may want to look into "the coalition of hair transplant doctors" or something like that, it may be more expensive but cash shouldn't matter when it comes to something permanent like this.

All negative reports were coming from the west coast and in the early to mid 90's. I've researched the actual doctors that are doing mine and they have great reputations. Thanks for the concern - but I've got it covered.

Been shaving my head about 8 yrs now (that damn beret), but I used to shave about twice a week, now I notice I have to shave everyday. Long story short.... I am bald like MJ.

I have receeding hair at 21yo. Shaved it for a year and a half and now keep it short.

Funny thing was I grew it out for a few months, and when I buzzed it back off I had people asking if I was losing hair. It's like they didn't notice it when it was longer.

*shrugs*

People with hair don't know what they are missing. Being bald is awesome. Cold pillows and rain feels awesome.

Having trouble with your hair??????????????

I started around 21 too. 26 practically bald shaved head and I don't give a crap. To me at first it bothered me a lot and now it seems like it bothers other people more. Like I said I don't really care.

Wow me too, I find it bothers other people more than me. I actually have grown to like it quite a but other people always ask me why I shave it. I think other people associate it with aggressiveness and all that.. that can get pretty old after awhile.

I shaved a few years ago because my hair stopped growing the way I would like it to. I don't however lament the loss of my hair because fortunately, I don't have a lump head so, it's cool. Actually it's added a interesting dimension to my appearance.
