Ok, here is a question...How would a guy feel if a girl out leg pressed him??? I happened to do this tonight at the gym and this guy kept following me around, trying to get me to compete with him.........than told me I was on steriods....So I simply stated that he was weak.....LOL Mean yes, but he deserved it..........

So how would you guys feel?????????
 
Well we have one lady in our gym that can out squat most of the guys I know at the gym.. but she is like 25th on the all time PL list for deadlift and I think somewhere in the top 100 for squats.. so it doesn't really bother me..
 
You go girl! I train a sixteen year old girl that can out squat,out deadlift, and just about out anything half the guys her age in the gym can do. :hammer:

It's amazing to see what a little brute strength can do for a girls self image. :whip:
 
There's a girl who works out at Equinox Gym in Chicago that presses sets of 8 plates(360) on the hammer leg press. She's rail-thin at 6'0" and 120lbs; an ex ballet dancer.

The guy at your gym is one pathetic sot to make a competition out of it. Glad you put him in his place =)
 
Hell with my knee the way it is probably all the girls at my gym can leg press more then me :frustrate I'm coming back strong though :thumbsup:

Honestly I don't care what weight anyone else can do male or female I just concentrate on myself when in the gym and I think this guy should of have done that. Ego is a bitch.
 
My anatomy teacher has a huge leg press. She used to come into the school gym, and do her leg workouts, and make the bench, and bicep guys look pathetic. I thought it was pretty cool personally.

She told me a few stories similiar to yours. I think she went about things in about the same manner.
 
kudos to you. Now if I had challenged you and then got my assed kicked then it'd be a different story.

good for you beatin him and then reminding him of it haha

Do not let it bother you and a guy should not let it bother him. I have trained with women that can leg press and dealift more than many men. However, i would suggest you stay away from gym creeps like that.

I think of training as a competition with myself and no one else. For this reason, I do not concern myself with comparing lifts with others. I try to encourage and if that measn some lifts more than me then that is great.

Haha if my girl out leg pressed me I'd be proud of her. Actualy she can out do most guys at the gym on leg press. LOL its funny some of the reactions she gets. She is extremley strong in the lower body but not so much in the upper body. LOL one day I was teasing her about picking up 225lbs of the floor and she decided to give it a try even though I told her I was teasing and it was a bad idea to try that much weight since you never even deadlifted.lol long story short at least 10 people where watching her and she lifted it to full extension.
 
I would be impressed. When I rowed crew one of the women coaches was an ex-olympic rower, she loved to show up during one of our gym days and put us in our places. Never seen legs on a girl like hers, tree trunks.
 
That dude at the gym must have been BigPete, but you're just too much of a lady to tell us. :icon_lol:

That, and if you shoulder press me over you head and throw me across the room....I'd be in love!

I think it's fantastic!It would be great motavation to work with a girl like that.

The thing this guy does not know and most don't is I held the state squat record for a yr, powerlifting, now i am into leaning out, and have been but I trained my legs well, and can still push the weight when i have to :) Umm and Lancelot, I do not have a weiner but thank you for asking :lol:
