how to work my legs

right now i have to lift at home and i have several things to work my upper body but nothing to work my lower body unless i can use a barbell and weights. i run and do cleans but i cant really tell a strength difference. how can i work them without squats, legextensions, hammycurls, legpress, etc. because this has been an ongoing problem that needs to be fixed.

If i were you i would throw some lighter weight on the bar, clean and press, put it on my shoulders, squat, then press it off when im done. another viable option would be to do lunges either with DBs or BB. stiff leg deads for hams:clean::dl:

alright. because it is pretty bad when i can rep more on bench than squat. i am not out of proportion yet but i dont want to be.

I used to do high rep sets of knee-bends, just to keep the thighs engorged with blood. My legs would be sore for a bit after. I'm talkin 100 rep sets. Work your way up though,.. as it's taxing. Makes legs look like a sprinter!!!

My most recent (and successful) way to build legs is cycling. Not talking about a leisurely glide, but a full-on HIIT approach, giving yourself just enough time pedaling lightly to drop heart rate to 120-140 then given'r again. In the past month or so, my quads are up two inches from almost purely cycling, while losing weight on the side.

The great thing about HIIT cycling is that you can simply stop pedaling during the low intensity part of the interval, and since you just built up a huge amount of speed, it gives you a good bit of rest before you start up again. I just got back from an hour of this, finishing with a burst up a frickin' huge hill, my pulse is still over 150 from the exertion :D

Regards,
Matt.

old school hamstring curls can be done with a dumbbell between your legs while lying chest down on decline bench (head at the higher end)

throw some squats and lunges in there and ur set.

alright yesterday was my leg workout and i tried cleans but used deep leg movements. and i also clean and jerked the bar onto my back and would do deep squats and jump as high as i possibly could. i worked great. and i dont have dumbells or else i would try the curls. thanks what i tried worked great right now my legs are pretty sore.:head:
