How much Tuna is bad?

I find tuna easier to take than protein shake, easier to get in me then chicken and started last week eating two cans a day

What is the upper limit for mercury risk? Are we talking 20kg of the stuff or... 2 cans a day?

Mine is tracked so i can see where it is fished, this can Im eating is fromt he Indian ocean

Doesn't matter where it was fished as long as it's open water it will be polluted with heavy metals.
Inland bred fish is no better (often saturated with antibiotics).

I understand your position since i used to eat 1 can of tuna every day before bed at 17 yo when i started lifting (i was young, ignorant and highly motivated).

I would advise you an upper limit of 2 cans a week, and to consider other fish.

Gainz and health wise, sardines and mackerel are your best option.

My friend did a study of this, and of I remember correctly, the limit depends on your weight, for me at around 78kg I could eat 5 cans per week if I remember correctly

LOVE Me Sardines... they stink like f##&k but yeah, easier to eat than Tuna.
Great thread.

They say 2-3 cans a week is ok. It’s about mercury and those levels.

Damn bro I guess you dont give af. You have no idea what that's doing to your insides.

Ignorance is bliss I guess
Why did you call me ignorant? Did I ever say I didn’t know it wasn’t healthy? you could call me stupid SURE though.

Light tuna has less mercury than albacore. I haven't eaten much tuna recently. Im thinking of eating two cans today. I recently started buying canned chicken in place of tuna.

I switch to canned chicken once I cant swallow tuna with out gagging. Right now canned chicken makes me puke.
