Other than gut health, digestion, stomach lining, or ulcer repair. Its been proven for quite some time to be fairly useless for bodybuilding or performance.
I agree - I've used glutamine anywhere from 5-20g/day and never really noticed anything. It tastes pretty crappy, and I think you could invest the money better into something else.
There’s nothing wrong with taking glutamine. It’s cheap, and it’s probably good for your gut health. (There’s some evidence that folks on low protein diets can experience illness because their gut gets low on glutamine, affecting its immune system.)
