Depends from a person to another. My caloric maintenance is around 2900-3000 but I won’t gain any weight until I eat 4200+ but I’m 215 lbs. Obviously you’re going to need to eat more on gear but I hardly hardly doubt you’re not gaining on 5000 calories a day at 183 lbs. I don’t say this in a mean way but a lot of people eat less than they think. I had a guy come at me at work for the same problem as you, I calculed his macros and what he though was 4500 calories was actually 3400. If that’s not your case well you’re one of the unlucky 5%ers that just don’t gain much mass at all.
