So im a moderate bulker. I dont like yo-yo dieting too much so i dont bulk like some other guys i try to stay a little lean-ish. So my question is how much cardio do most of you guys do during bulking. Not gonna lie i almost drop my cardio because im so tired from going heavy i dont have it in me to do it first.

when i was reading this mass workout there was a decent amount of cardio... just want some opinions.

At least 3x/week for cardiovascular health. It'll also stoke the metabolic fire and increase your appetite.

If the objective is health... Include cardio. If the objective is maximum size increase... Do as little as possible outside the gym. Drive don't walk, walk don't run, sit don't stand. Rest rest eat rest. This is not a recipe for health but BBing isn't about health.

Again, if health is your priority while gaining what you can I would tell ya similar advice as was given above. If gaining muscle is the objective.... Do as little as possible outside the gym.

15 minutes fasted in the morning (2m walk, 10m jog, 3m cool down walk)
30-45 minute walk on off days(3x per week)
10m walk post workout (4x per week)
Sometimes a bike ride, especially leg days.

This is a new cardio cycle im trying out. I really dont wanna let my cardio health go this time around. I hate the idea of getting winded going up stairs because im too bulky with no aerobic potential.

have you tried not doing cardio at all? but doing some conditioning. GPP and SPP work to increase work capacity and help speed up recovery.

and yes, they are the same thing. just different labels. maybe you just need to look at it in a way that fits your goals.

Brings a point, how effective do you think the stairmaster is for about 20 minutes.

(Think I usually have mine set to fat burn between 7&9.)

The whole "fat burn" concept means nothing. It's calories burned that matters.

If you don't do excessively long steady-state cardio sessions and you eat enough to cover your needs, then cardio will only benefit you.

Interval and anaerobic conditioning type cardio will be especially beneficial. The cellular adaptations will increase nutrient partitioning. The systemic adaptations will increase work capacity, blood flow, etc.

Plus, the more I learn about the heart, the more important I find it is to train it.

True. Makes sense.

Totally agreed.

Off topic a bit, but I haven't done any cardio since August until yesterday. I had a pretty beginner (well, beginner for me) plan laid out for my cardio ... got about 1/3 of the way through before I had to stop, haha.
