About the same . I should do more though, my heart would probably enjoy it. Really only want to do it for health reasons tho, definately don't need to drop weight.magic8ball said:I've done cardio four times in the last eight months. I don't even like to run unless someone is chasing me.

LEAN BULKING, in most cases, is achieved by low to moderate caloric surplus rather than excessive surplus. Unless you have a need or desire for cardiac conditioning, cardio, in this application, is only a means to offset excessive consumption, via energy expenditure, and counter productive, IMO. Like I said, if you desire to engage in cardio for the cardiac conditioning, more power to you. Personally, I would rather control my LEAN BULKING by moderating my caloric intake rather than offsetting the excess. If I'm going to engage in 60 mins of cardio I want it to be burning fat. JMHO...to each, his own...![]()

Well, it's not .89 lbs gain. I stated in theory, so this means exeeding calories. considering 3500 is 1 lbs.CallmeClark said:.89lbs a week natural? Uhh... who came up with that theory? Well, unless you're talking about fat too.

gerby said:3500 calories is one pound of FAT!! One pound of muscle is very different from one pound of fat. A pound of muscle is over 70% water and contains only about 350 calories. A pound of fat is between 10-15% water and contains 3500 calories.
