How many of you have a meal prep service?

Probably not the best place for this, but figured it'd get a better response from people who run gear. I have a few friends that get their meals delivered, roughly $180 per week. The food is pretty good, its a local guy here in FL. On the fence, but thinking about trying it out. Wanted to hear thoughts from others. Cheers.

I tried out a service in my area (protrainf3) for a few months and liked it. The food was really fresh and good and was delivered super early in the morning on my doorstep in a bag to keep everything cold.

It was just too expensive to keep doing so I do it myself now but It definitely was very convenient.

I tried a local one also and it was amazing. They used the best cuts of meat and every single item was cooked sous-vide. They were all organic but their menu was definitely geared towards a paleo diet. It was also just too expensive to continue doing week after week.

It just sucks when you work full time, then try to keep a physique with the full time job that basically is. It's hard to justify 7k a year on meal prep though.. ugh.

Yeah I tried it for a couple weeks, just cant convince my mind it's worth it for the long run. They have a 14 meal per week which is 130$. Problem is, its 7 breakfast meals out of the 14, which is just a protein pancake. I usually just take 4 eggs to work with me, and a banana, which costs what? - 75 cents maybe? Lol

$180 weekly seems rather steep. Even $130 for just 14 meals is still too much. You could check out Rich Piana's meal prep service. I hear it's quite good. I think the 14 meal per week plan is like $98, and the 21 meal per week is like $147. Still not the cheapest, but you'd get more bang for your buck compared to the other one.

I would invest in a grill bro and cook your lunch and dinner on it 2 days a week for the whole week. Breakfast is the easiest thing in the world. Chicken steak and fish. And steam fresh veggies and rice pouches are rediculously convenient. I spend like $180 a week and that's for me and my girl and that's with her expensive organic crap

I can't believe this is an actual thing. 1st world problems.

No I'm sure there are meal prep services in Third world countries.. it's just drastically more expensive so no one talks about it..

Yeah it’s for the 12 rich people who hoard the rest of the nation’s wealth so they can afford meal prep services.

My GF is my meal prep service. But seriously, we never cook a dinner that isn’t large enough to provide leftovers for the next day. It makes getting enough calories much easier.

It’s overpriced; the majority of people I see use meal prep services are just people who get discounts to promote it.

I work full time as well. I just set aside some time on the weekend to prep only my food I’ll be eating at work. I never prep breakfast or dinner. It’s much cheaper to go to Costco you’ll save a ton of money the meal prep is really a rip off haha. I just got lazy and wanted to try it.
