how long would it take for test prop to lower my sperm?

just bought some test prop to find out my girl is on clomids as we been trying for a baby. i wil need my sperm high for the next 3 weeks i want to start the test now my source says ill be ok for 6 weeks is he talking out his ass?
 
Why not wait? Seems a bit childish to say you want a baby and want to use something that lowers your sperm at the same time. Put a baby in her then take test. That way the child has a jacked dad and still comes into existence.
