How long is to long

So I ran androbolic for a month then dmz and got no results so stepped up to test and deca....all together I'm looking at 4 months worth of natural suppression reduction.... I'm wondering how long is to long until I cause damage. I didn't over due any of it and I am just starting to see the results not what I want but I'm aware that I should probably stop soon.... but I look up online and I see 16 week kits... and that it is better to run TRT if your planning on not staying off your cycle to long..... my trainer wants to step it up come September so I'd like to be on my cycle again or at least have my natural hormones leveled back off... what do you guys think... thank you

Who knows. Im not aware of any "after 9.6 weeks youre fukt!" parameter. Best we can say is that for each day youre suppressed, your risk factor increases. Moreso when you head further into complete shutdown territory.

If youre looking at cycling again in September, youre crazy. From now til then thats barely enough time to run a decent PCT. But, as always, your body your risks. No-ones going to Mommy you and make any assurances "youll be fine!" cos who the fuk knows.

If I were you Id weigh up what youre prepared to risk (you cool with trt?) and what that risk is worth (this a hobby? Wanna be a dad?) But just as important as your hpta health is stuff like heart and CV system. That sh1t requires constant consideration and remedial effort.

If you plan on running multiple cycles a year for months at a time you're likely looking at permanent suppression to some degree. I don't know how much damage has already been done and you may never know either if you didn't have bloods taken before commencing a steroid cycle. It's completely subjective. If you don't want to risk permanent suppression you shouldn't be running steroids period. Some try to strike a balance by running a mild compound once a year for short duration but even there we have risk, just better odds of recovery. Understand also that SERMS do not repair HPTA damage. They stimulate HPTA function and will help your T levels bounce back faster to maintain gains. It is when you stop taking them you'll realize the extent of damage incurred.

How old are you? I felt like orals (DMZ/ostra specifically) messed the most with my natural production. Did 5 test cycles with great rebound. Orals caused some longer term suppression. Might just be my age

I'm 27 in a week, I do plan on having kids and I would prefer not to have to go on TRT. I have plenty of stock to run through October I don't plan on doing this. But my problem is that my trainer wants to step it up in a couple months(September he says) but I'm just seeing my gains. And I feel I should stop my cycle so at least by October my natural T levels are bounced back enough.... I guess what I'm asking is if you were in my shoes what would you do.... I do want kids more then anything it important to me

16 weeks is the longest I have ran.. I could have easily went longer.
some stuff like EQ takes a long time to work its magic.. I have heard of yr round EQ dosing.

I'm also always warry of complete shutdown I think the best is less gear rather than less time [as long as your not going into multiple years]. I truley think that it totally depends on the person. I see more of a trend for high mg cycles shutting down ppl than 6 month moderate cycles. Ive ran 5 months but as long as I have a trickle of LH and my balls don't shrink noticeably than I would go as far as 8 but I have a bit of resistance in the atrophy area.

I really dont think there is a black-and-white to this. Too many unpredictable variables.

Your trainer...Im risking being overly stereotypical here, but keep in mind his main motivation: for you to get te gainz. Which is great, for you AND him ("wow look at that jacked dude, wonder who his trainer is?!").

So, how much of a priority is your health to him? Hopefully your immediate health is something he considers, but does he really care too much about the current implications 2 years from now? 5 years?

Im maybe overcautious. But if recovery, kids and health are indeed important to you...Id think very hard about cycling again so soon. Not to be melodramatic. But I think its a legitimate concern.

I truly appreciate what all of you have to say and I will take every piece of advice into consideration..... so I guess what is eating me up mentally is if I stop now when I'm just truly seeing my gains I won't be abile to keep up, when he wants to step it up... I mean my strength is going to drop undoubtedly and my recovery will fall as well.
But honestly I'm concerned about my health I see someone said they ran 8 months before, is that true as long as I'm not running to hard? Maybe I need more opinions I'm still lost thank you all again

Well, any opinions on this are either merely going to have you think twice, or endorse/validate risk-taking.

Just cos you see someone jump from a two-storey building and land uninjured, doesnt necessarily mean it is generally safe. It just shows what is possible. But I suspect you already know what is possible, and are really looking for people to enable your risk-taking. We're all susceptible to confirmation bias.

I think your 100% correct I guess what it boils down too is stop this now... wait 1 month to get a little more gains since I just started to see them.... or what I really don't think is a good idea run strait through and do TRT in between.... I just would like to hear every and all opinions on this matter.... by next summer my trainer says I should be were I want to be but I don't want damage.... I deff want kids and I think if I stopped now after a couple of months and some serm my natural T levels will be high enough to carry me through to say the least Yes or No?

I said I ran 5 months but if it was a mild to moderate cycle I would be comfortable running 8 months. I have not done it yet. I would listen to your gut. If you are educating yourself and when you think about it you still worry; Fukk that dude, he works for you not the other way around. If you were in the NFL with millions on the line then I would listen to the trainer. But there is a saying in dangerous work " If you have a doubt, there is no doubt" this means if you are doubting the situation now youre already not doing it.
