How do you feel when your'e "off" supplements?

Curious, when you take a break how do you feel?

I haven't taken a PWO for 2 days, yet I had an amazing shoulder pump, and calves pump with no pump ingredients.
Bowl of Milo cereal and 2 slices of pizza is what I ate ?

I tend to notice a higher libido when off test boosters too? Is it just me, or do others find their bodies work better without supplements?

I do notice better recovery from a bcaa/eaa supplement however, and in general I take vitamins and minerals.

I'm just struggling to see if I really need a PWO or PUMP supplement anymore. I seem to get good enough pumps without any, and honestly stimulates don't affect me anymore. A cup of coffee does the job, if anything.

I can't be alone? Danes just got me thinking that I have taken Pump supplements for years non stop 4 days a week or more.

I take breaks, normally holidays tho or weeks off.

Is there anyway to truely measure how effective a pump is?

Just don't want to put rubbish into my body I no longer need, it can't be healthy after all these years.(especially heavy stims)

Thoughts?

Only thing that bothers me is my scheduled stim break. I usually do 90 days on, 30 days off. Is sukks so bad for me. I do still have a 24oz coffee but that wears off after about an hour , that's when I really feel it. Test boosters I do 30 on 30 off, no big deal there. I do hate when I run out of my daily creatine hcl, I feel after a bout 2 or 3 days the hardening feeling tapers away. I love pump products...glycerol vaso6 etc...I guess I never really went without so can't respond to that part.

As far as the pwo, I can go without. Obviously it usually takes me about 30-45 minutes to get in the groove without, and only about 7-10 minutes with.

That's a very broad question

I tend to cycle supplements. Like pre contest I used caffeine and ephedrine and now off them. I prefer being off stimulates totally most of the year.
In certain phases of training like pre contest or more HIt ill up my vit c to three plus grams. Other times when training is reduced 1-2 grams. There's a lot of little tricks and supplements to add here and there.

I think almost all supplements should be cycled - stims, nitrates, test boosters, etc. Anything except for staple vitamins, fish oil, and creatine IMO.

I think pump formulas are great during a low carb dieting phase, but if you're eating properly and training hard you really shouldn't need anything extra to get a solid pump. Nutrition should always be first, but when I'm dieting I find pump products and heavier stim doses to help me push through my workouts

This would really depend on what type of products you use. Some work more behind the scene and there isn't a "feeling" to them.

I take a pre workout so when I’m not on supps I feel more sluggish for sure. I typically try to increase calories when I take a supplement break so I’m getting more energy in me.

The only thing I cycle are cycles

I knew you'd comment ha

Things I've noticed since cutting out my PWO.
- No crashing during long workouts
- Insane painful pumps
- Morning wood

I seem to function better, the pumps have been insane. I never get painful pumps, but I gather my body works pretty efficiently itself.

I'll keep monitoring for a few weeks.

Yeah, testboosters **** up my libido, trying to control my hormones, it’s really ****ty. I’m 24 and don’t need it. Yeah, I also get pumps just fine w/o pump supplements. IDK why I keep going for them. The supplement industry’s mind games have effectively got me on lock.

Definitely not at your age.

My libido is definitely better without a test booster, but a few have increased it during a short period.
It actually amazes me how good my pumps are, like they're hurting me.

Don't get me wrong, I've had some good work outs on Re1gn, Craze.

I noticed at work, I wasn't groggy or as tired as I normally am. I assume cutting down on caffeine has definitely helped me.

I'll see how I continue this week and next.

Ah yeah, since I switched to working out later in the day instead of the morning I haven’t really been taking any caffeine. No grogginess or anything since I’m used to it. Also since cutting it out completely I think my sleep is better, even when taking a product that has caffeine I was ultra stim sensitive all the time, I wouldn’t sleep to well even with doses restricted to morning.

Will say cut out caffeine 800mg and feel better with more energy. See how long that lasts and if I can mentally tell my self I don't need the caffeine. Will still use a pre but again one day at a time. Testboosters I do love OL lj100, everything else for me doesn't compare. But yeah I would love to stop supplements but I mentally think I need them, lol.

to be honest I never used ANY supplements until I was in my 40's....not even protein-it sucked until around 2000!!!

now that im going to be 60 soon supps can actually make me feel like im in my 40's again-ALMOST, lol.

of course quitting drinking 21 years ago probably helps as much or more than the supps….alcoholism really f'ed me up!!!

Odd to think that you have better pumps since cutting out your PWO. Not that I don’t believe you, because I certainly do..

I honestly can’t even remember how long it has been since I just took a multi-vitamin, protein, and fish oil. Believe it or not, I used to only take those for years.

I then moved onto my stims, and then I think I really blossomed when Craze came out, which was my first PWO ever. Needless to say, I was impressed. That was my gateway supplement...haha!

'gateway' supplement, lol...that is funny!!!

Update:

1. Libido is better
2. Erections more often and much stronger(Biggest thing I have noticed)
3. I'm sleeping more, and feel tired when waking up(However, energy through the day is fine)

Strength at gym honestly feels the same, and I havent taken anything but creatine.

I'm actually unsure if I'll touch any supplements again, esp PWO or Pump related products. Honestly with so many men on here complaining about erection issues, I would stay to first stop all No2 supplements and let your body create it's own production.

I have way more wood, quicker and longer lasting erections.

I'm still drinking Green Tea, and have 1-2 Coffees a day.

:)
