How do I explain Anabolics to friends?

I think this is something you're going to have to decide...

They may not understand.. at which point you might conclude that it's not worth stating.

You want them to know you take phera-phlex and ergomax... why?!?

Just tell them you take test boosters if they ask. If you want to be honest and tell them, they don't understand and accuse of roid' usage and associate that with negativity, then you shouldn't tell them or you should just live with it.

Just doesn't make any sense to tell your co-workers that your taking "performance enhancers". If I heard some guy at work say he took performance enhances I'd say he was retarded and had no idea what he's talking about. I would also be quick to assume that he wants people in the office to realize he lifts and "works out"... figuring people will somehow hold him to a higher regard. If this isn't true, why the heck would he say he took performance enhancers?

pretty lame

:icon_lol:!!! Do you have any moto to do workout after 6 or 10 times???

actually its probably more like 4-8x's. But it helps to leave some recovery time before wkout, and save a few times for before bed! (This is while "ON" of course.) Normally it would only be 2-4x's/day!:icon_lol:

On the same topic....I had to tell my wife that I have some and that I'm looking to start some soon. She was really unhappy with it but since has came to be more at peace with it.

I know that by July my friends (especially my former workout buddy) and my brother how I have no seen in some time will be surprised, but to tell them about anabolics would be a waste of time and a huge hassel.

If anything, I'll tell them 500 grams of protein a day, No-Explode, and lifting twice a day. Some typical **** they'll believe.

One time myself and two others where sitting around and one of them had some BBing mag...

Person A points to a picture of Ronnie Coleman in some ad, he is like "That Dude is on some Roids" , Person B is like "NO, roids get you BIG but not CUT, people who look like that is from taking creatine"

The average person has ridiculous ideas when it comes to Fitness Nutrition, I have heard twice in the past week that Protein destroys your kidneys

Yup....just like people believe Valentino got those arms from AAS. And numerous other things.

My boss is always making comments about my size and training

he is always saying he cant understand why i want to turn myself into this huge lump etc I told him its no concern of his what i do, so he doesnt need to "understand"

he says there are steroids in my protein shakes and when i fobbed him off with the story i was using creatine he started going off about how creatine is not natural and is bad for you and there are long term effects to its use

When ever anyone says things like this i get really angry and just want to punch them in the head or something.

Im sure its just the small man syndrome in them and they are angry cause you are so much bigger than them

Ask your boss if he's ever eaten a steak before. (creatine) not natural, gimme a break. Just keep getting bigger and put a smile on your face. Anything you say, he will try to twist. He also is probably a one upper. One of those guys that always have a better story than you. Am I right? The faces change, my friend, the personalities do not. In a couple of years you will have had experience with the entire theatrical cast. Givers and takers.

Easy solution if you really wanted to stop, "Hey Boss, you are making me feel very uncomfortable and I fee like this environment is getting a little much for me to work in."

If you told him that, he didn't change anything, he'd have a nice lawsuit on his hands. I would say that could fit nicely under sexual harassment.

:p

That must be pretty annoying. Whenever people pull that bull**** with me I always quickly show them how ignorant they are. As Mach said, creatine not normal! :wtf:

A lot of my friends used to give me that crap. Now they ask me for advice

It has always amazed me how society seems to value things like abstinence and sobriety as virtues, instead of obsticles to learning and understanding the truth. People who are willing to take risks with experimental chemicals and lifestyles are heroes. They are the pioneers that are willing to sacrifice their health to seek a higher knowledge of human physiological limits. There is nothing wrong with a safe cubical life. Not everyone can be brave. I just don't take the criticism of the non-players as seriously as I would from a fellow risk- taking player.
