How did everyone first find / hear about AnabolicMinds.com?

I was originally referred here by a girl I knew in Orange County, after I had just moved to the States.

Just curious how everyone else first came across this site?

It's definitely had (and has) one of the most solid communities of any forum I've been on. Very stable level of involvement (high), while also keeping quality very high. Thanks for keeping this place running smoothly guys!

I saw this site years ago, would come on and off once in awhile. wasted time on a few other forums that just never went anywhere. dead threads and the only time new posts came out were from sponsors about the new product or a log.

here is completely different. I have this site up at work all day now and read, learn and have a good laugh. like my recent thread of F, Marry Kill posted in the general forum area- sorry pump, that's piss poor thread placement, I know- lol

admins are adding updates all the time to the app as well. found a good home and aint leaving

I was actually looking for a dating app but stumbled across AM...

:truth:

To get some reviews and insight into Custom Nutrition Warehouse and their M1,4AD powder. I think that was '04.

The AM app is pretty great. Not a lot of forums make apps for their people. I used tapatalk for a while, but the app is a big improvement.

Haha that's funny. I see you joined in 2013, but I don't remember you then. Those were my dark days, post injury/surgery, so I wasn't very active here for a bit though.

So you just found it doing a web search? Or did you know others here?

I guess I'm asking, because I don't really see AM advertised much anywhere, but the traffic here is huge. I know a lot of people who come specifically for the news articles as well, so that could be a big driving factor right now. Back when I started up, those weren't around (I don't think).

Was looking for a fitness app, found this one and gave it a shot, loved it and been here since!

Found it sometime in late '03 early '04 when looking for home brew trans-dermal information. Got my goods from BulkNutrition/1Fast400 and found the proper way to transform them here. Site is much different now than then. No reps or sponsors back then. The clown was still around too. Those were the good ole' days. Golden age of PH products without the liver destroying orals or today. Oh well, no need to reminisce. You can't go back in time. Or maybe?.

Flattery will get you everywhere!

I definitely missed the golden age of PH, was before my time. I was involved in sports then but not anabolics, etc. Must've been a great time hehe
Isn't the clown still around but with another username?

And that Admin is sooooooo good lookin ;)

I had bought a bottle of USP's Recreate at VS which had a link to their forum which I joined... Then before too long I saw mention of anabolic minds, did a search then joined up... several years later and Admin sent me a friendship bracelet in the mail so I've stayed around...

And ill bet if you try hard you could find a date in here... :P

I was on a UK forum, it got pretty dead after af while..Then one day i was making all kinds of google seaches and found this place.. Made a profile and stayed silent for a while.. And when i got to know a few ppl in here i started making some noise..

I found it via googling workout/anabolic related stuff just out of curiosity. I lurked for quite a while, and eventually just made an account, and I'm so glad I did.

My brother harassed me for months to join. I joined, but didn't care to log in here much. One day he had someone ship me a product and said I could only use it if I logged it here, and that was it.

Changed my lifting from that point forward for the better.

Not gonna lie, kinda ticked I didn't get a bracelet.

Stumbled across it while browsing for apps, lol.
Downloaded it and was forever changed.

I skipped the lurking part on here and kinda dove right in back when I first signed up. I can't believe some of the stuff I posted back then hehe... I was such a noob... but my trolling game was still on point when pushed and prodded into it :439:

Such a classic thread here: Invalid Link Removed

You guys make it easy here! :D Great site and app
I'd be sad to ever go, thanks for putting up with me :)

not anymore- playtime is over- now, go log something

lol

I have been researching PH's/DS's for ~6 years and have two solid cycles of H-Drol and E-Stane under my belt, and during research I would be directed to AM quite a bit for information and it always wanted me to register to be able to join in. I never liked the idea of having to register and provide personal details and email in order to be involved in a forum but one day I saw they had an app for IOS and made the choice to "just do it". Best decision ever, there is so much good info here and supp deals, I should have joined a long time ago. The app makes everything so seemless I love it.

Fellow 04' Checking in. Actually, been MIA several years and just happened to stop by now. Rodja you are literally the only name I recognize after spending the past 15mins cruising threads. What happened to Bobo and everyone!?!:puppy_dog_eyes:

They went on cycle and was never seen again....

Man I had no idea what I was talking about when I first joined hahaha. Thought I knew a thing or two about supplements, but I was dead wrong.

I don't remember how I originally found the place, but I used to check only the homepage daily just to read the articles. I loved that it had different articles from different sources all compiled in one place.

I remember Googleing stuff, probably about PES, and all the good threads were here, but you needed an account just to view the forums, so I made one and lurked for a bit (was never really a forum guy). Once I saw how great this place was, I decided to start posting and contributing.

Loved the place so much I bought a paid subscription, and will always do so as long as I'm active. A place like this is well worth supporting.

I heard of this site when doing a lot of research on what kind of cycle I wanted to run. Out of all the forums this site looked to cut through the most bull s*** I was deciding on a SARMs vs Natty run. This site helped me nail that down what I wanted to do.

I found out about AM years ago (2003) when someone told me it needed a new flux capacitor. I installed that and here we are today.

Pretty sure this was how I found AM as well. I had been a forum member on other sites, but nothing seemed to compare to this one.

Pretty much this. Lurked for years and became more impressed with how this was run compared to other "fitness" sites and the hate of BS and bragging. It's changed like everything, but still the best place going for someone like me and my interests.

I bought animal test by universal and broke a lot of my PRs. Researched every single ingredient and came across ARA. AM had the most info about it and I was so impressed by the vast knowledge the members had.

Pretty much the same as most. Joined while trying to research anabolics. This was the only site where people reliably tried to answer and educate without pages and pages of flaming and rediculous nonsense. I lurked for a while but now I really enjoying participating and helping out when I can.

Researching SHBG brought me here. Very informative posts. Enjoy most of the articles on the Home Page. Good moderation.

This is the only weightlifting forum I visit. Did visit another well known one but the "over 35" forum reminded me of something out of HS.

I really do not visit all parts of the forum- only training, injuries, nutrition, over 35, anti-aging, and the Lounge for the humor.

I recommend this site to everyone interested in weightlifting.

Appreciate all the comments. Most don't know what goes into running this place and the decisions you have to make (which seems to always piss off someone) but we really appreciate the kind words and we really try our best to provide the best environment possible.

Check out the Nootropics sub-forum, fairly brand new addition Great place with lots of info. As part of the "over 35" crew, I can say nootropics definitely have their place.

Really, what happened to everyone that was here in mid 2000's?

I had been working out a few years and really got into powerlifting. I bought some dbol and planned to cycle, got out google and found AM. Really did a lot of reading and when I saw the quality of the members, site and articles I joined. Either way was convinced to pin. Never looked back. On here daily now and loving it.

Thought I was going to die because I forgot liver support on a epistane cycle way back when it was legal. Finally decided to join the crew a few weeks ago.

I was directed here for some cycle help in 08. Been here off and on since. The only forum I participate in

Came in 2nd to someone on juice (winnie maybe?) In my first Physique show, wanted to look into PHs to try to even the playing field a bit and found this gold mine of advice!

Same as most. Found the site and I can recognize good game.

One of the members here worked out at my gym and we became friends... docstri8ted (can't remember exactly name). Hell of a guy fooking huge..he moved, I guess I don't see him anymore I break my phone once a month...

At a rest stop, kept hearing a guy yelling, from the bushes mind you, "anarobicblinds" , typed it in google and this site came up.

I was researching pro hormones and this is the only forum I found that wasn't ran by a company that pushed their own products. I still can't stand many other sites to this day.

11 years ago, I was a freshman in college, and a senior who was a top level bencher. His name was Nick Winters R.I.P...he told.me about this site and have been pretty active since.

I go in spurts where I'm posting 10+ times a day and then go months as a lurker.

IG, Facebook, snap chat etc are killing the forums

Guy I was at pre-RASP with (and later on worldwide assignment while awaiting orders) told me about the SuperHuman Radio podcast.

We used to hit the gym together after work and talk training in the barracks, and it came up in conversation before.

The only forum I had heard of previously was BB.com, which I was not incredibly fond of. Joined not too long after that (had to have been 2012?), originally for the podcast but the ease of use of the AM app just made reading and posting from my phone convenient enough to use regularly.

Like DW I go quiet ever now and again, but usually I still check every day (or every other), seen quite a few people come and go in that time too.

Tried joining some other forums as well, but the Tapatalk app is not made nearly as well as this one.

I agree... I love my forums, hope they never die away
