House Passes H.R. 3866 - Victory for DHEA

This afternoon, H.R. 3866, the Anabolic Steroid Control Act, was overwhelmingly passed by the U.S. House of Representatives with an exemption for the safe and beneficial dietary supplement DHEA intact.

Thanks to all who sent messages and made phone calls to key members in the House urging them to keep the exemption for DHEA and not to classify it as a controlled substance. Your legislators listen to you and your e-mails and letters can really make a difference.

A companion bill in the U.S. Senate, S. 2195, is currently being considered by the Judiciary Committee. To expedite passage and enactment of this bill, the Senate can adopt the same provisions of the House bill, including the exemption for DHEA. If the Senate decides to pass a bill with provisions that are different from the House bill, these bills will need to be reconciled in a conference committee.

We’ll be monitoring the progress of the S. 2195 to ensure DHEA continues to receive the protection it deserves in the Senate. We’ll let you know if we need your help in contacting your Senators to keep DHEA legal.

More then likly less then one month, maybe three weeks. Once the House passed it the bill will rush through the Senate. Evrybody jumped on to this bandwagon! "We must do this for the children!" In a country that if you ask whats worse for you: steroids or smoking? Most people on the street will say steroids, and the quote all sort of weird stuff. " My cousin's friend used it and it shruck his dick." Or "It stunted this guy's growth I know." Well how old was this guy? "Around 23yrs." WTF! Anyway, hopefully Sledge will get out some more goodies before the Prez. signs it.

Yay less rights for people! USA USA USA! I wish there was a country where people left you alone but yet it was safe. Apparently that is too much to ask for

Indeed. And I am not ungrateful of living in the US. I like it here a lot. But is it so hard to mind your own business? I have yet to hear of anyone going out and stealing or killing people for PH money. This isnt coke or herion. This country has become obsessed with worrying about what other people are doing.

I am done as this is like preaching to the choir.

3 individuals voted against. I found it interesting that 2 of the 3 were republicans.

Reps are technically supposed to be the party of personal responsibility and freedom but that of course went out the window a while ago.

Even McCain is pimping this bill like it'll be the salvation of us all.

In my next letter to him I'll thank him for making millions of honest Americans into felons overnight. Thanks retarded legislators!

it's going to be more like 2 weeks rather 2 months. The reason they didn't include dhea is because they were afraid of the elderly lobby.
