I don't watch a lot of horror films.

They are all the same to me.. Ya know?

Slasher:
Suspiria
Nightmare on Elm St
Halloween

Mind****:
Audition
Ringu
Oldboy

Zombie:
Dawn of the Dead (Romero)
Zombie 2

The Ring, Candyman, The Shining, Exorcist, Sixth Sense

Also there's lots of scary Thai/ Japanese films i.e. Audition as mentioned above

Halloween Remake
Evil Dead
Insidious(s)
Event Horizon
Exorcist
6th Sense
The Mist
4th Kind
In The Mouth Of Madness

Off the top of my head. Love horror.

Edit: ****, you want number one...I'll have to think about it. That's tough.

Recently watched The COnjuring. It is a pretty spooky movie. The Warrens live about 20 minutes away from me. My buddy had to do plumbing work in that house, the room with all the artifacts actually exists. My buddy was spooked for days.

Nice! I'm trying to watch that one tonight actually.

Horror films have failed to scare me apart from when I was 13 and I saw Event Horizon. OMG that film was scary.

Until I watched the Conjuring in the cinema when I was a little baked. That film was so scary that I'm pretty sure my brain treated it as a trauma and made me forget, as I cant even remember it anymore

Most entertaining one in recent memory was Cabin In The Woods.

I have a soft spot for ultra low budget stuff. The Host and Pontypool were both good.

For those that have seen The Conjuring, they are making a movie called Annabelle, it is going to be about that creepy doll!

The mist was a mind****! That ending, man, that damn thing stuck with me for a while.

Off topic kind of but I'm currently reading the Shining. So different from the movie, creepy in a whole different way. Stephen King really is amazing at horror.

My father let me watch the original Omen when I was about 7. All I remember was running down the hall from the den and jumping into my bed and pulling the covers over my head. That housekeeper scared me for days.

"Rec", which was the original "Quarantine" from Portugal or Spain(forget where) had me up for nights a few years ago.

Event Horizon was bad, I think I watched it when I was 7 or something lol.

Not really a horror movie, but to this day the scariest thing I've ever seen on tv was an episode of the Twilight Zone. The Dummy episode was just so creepy.

Strangers has been the only movie ever to freak me out. There are no monsters, ghosts, super-strong bad guy. Just some bad people doing bad things for no reason. Could happen to anyone, anytime.

Any type of horror movie where a kid or kids are the killer or something similar freak me out to the max!

"The Mangler" cool flick...

Wow forgot all about that one. Good stuff.

Finally saw the conjuring. Very solid IMO. I look forward to the second one. The way they made the...don't wanna give it away..."bad guy" look was pretty badass.

I had a similar exorcist experience with the original haha

Anything Rob Zombie produces makes you immediately feel like you are going to Hell just for watching it. Check out House of 1000 Corpses and Lord of Salem; both made me doubt the status of my soul for weeks.

Lords of Salem was good? I gotta check that out. I love Rob Zombies stuff...I thought his first Halloween movie was pretty damn good, too. Unrated version.

Christine is a classic. It's my fave and I was actually pissed at the end of the movie when she was destroyed.

My second fave would be Predator vs. Alien.

The silver bullet scared the crap out of me as a kid...

Cabin in the woods was freaking weird. Can't decide if I liked it

That's the one that had the super weird ending, right?

I hated it...

Awesome! That's bad to the bone ma man.

I wish they still played the Phantasm series during Halloween season. Highly underrated for 70/80's series IMO.

The Babadook has 96% on rotten tomatoes. im going to watch it this weekend. Cant wait to be scares sh1tless

My aunt let my brother, cousins and I watch Aliens with Sygorney Weaver when we were like 9 or 10. I had nightmares about aliens popping out of random objects for weeks.

Go back to the basics this time of year: Day of the Dead, Zombie, Re-Animator

The Howling, Candyman, used to scare the shiz out of me. Just saw Anabelle last night with my niece. Decently scary movie!

Suspiria with the speakers turned waaaaay up

The last two horor movies that messed with me after watching them was
The Descent
&
Paranormal Activity
