Well i figured i would go ahead and get this up and running while i'm waiting on my Max FS to come. Just a little back ground on myself. I'm 38 years young and compete in the NPC and NABBA. I'm currently taking about 2 years off from competeing to gain as much size as i can while my wife finishes up with school.

My training consists of POWER/REP RANGE/FD-FS/SHOCK PUT TOGETHER BY Eric Broser NGA Pro and writer for ironman magazine. My diet consist or 400g protein 400-600g whole grain carbs and my fat intake is just from what i take in from the foods that i eat. I train 2 on, 1 off, 2 on with the weekends off. I do cardio 3-5 days a week at 30 minutes a pop. Cardio consists of walking on a treadmill.

My plan for taking the Mass FX will be as follows: 4 on training days as 2 and 2. On non training days it'll be 3 on a 2 and 1 bases. I'll be taking them first thing in the morning and prior to going to bed. I work steady nights so i lift about an hour after i get up in the afternoon so my first dose will be upon waking and about 45 minutes prior to my workout.
 
Monday 10-27-08 Bi's/Tri's(rep range)

back braced BB curls 80x8,8 85x8,8

preachers 70x10,12,14 (last 2 reps of 14 had to be done rest pause styl)

lying cable curls 45x20,20

pushdowns 105x12,12,12,12

RG pulldowns 60x14,14,14,14

Good workout arms as always were screaming at the end of a rep range workout.
 
Tuesday 10-28-08 LEGS(REP RANGE)

Leg Ext 170x7,10,14,14,10,7

unilateral leg press 130x12 140x15 150x15 160x12

DB Lunges 60x7,10

Adductions 110x7,10,14,14,10,7

Quads were fried. Today was done ascending and descending reps. Was a killer leg workout. Resting hammies do to slight pull.
 
Thursday 10-30-08 Lower Back

Rack deads 225x5 315x5 365x5 385x5 405x5 415x5

Good mornings(2 second hold before push with each rep) 135x8,8,8

Machine back ext 220x10,12,14( 30 seconds between sets)

Weighted Hypers 35x20,20

My freaking lower back was killing me after this. Going into the machine ext, the pump was a killer already.

Well im 1 week in to my MassFX and so far not to bad. I do notice some increase in my endurance. Havent really noticed anything strength wise yet but its only been 1 week also. As far as the pump goes, i always walk out with a solid pump in what ever muscle part i've worked. So i cant sit here and say oh i had a great pump post workout because its always there post workout.

Like i say its only been the 1st week and i always feel that you have to give supplements like this more than a week to really judge stregth increase from it. Now one thing that i do notice it i feel harder and fuller in all my muscle bellies.

As far as sides go i notice some increase in oily skin and very mild acne. The funny thing is the acne is mostly in my scalp.
 
Wednesday 11-05-08 Legs(Power)

Squat 385x5,5,5 395x4+1(PR for reps with this weight)

unilateral leg press 220x5,5 230x5,5

Leg Ext 185x5,5,5,5,5(2 sec ext hold each rep)

Adductions 110x10,10,10

Great feeling leg workout. Good power and definately much better than mondays w/o. Felt good going into this workout.
 
Thursday 11-6-08 Lower Back

*First off let me say i know better than to try and do a power back workout the day after a power leg workout. However, i tried it anyway with very bad results*

Dead lifts 225x5 315x5 405x1 365x5,5 405x1* have gotten 405 for 3 twice the week before. Just felt like i had NO drive in my legs*

Good mornings 135x5 145x5 155x5

machine back ext 210x10,10,10,10

weighted hypers 35x15,15

Was able to pull out half decent workout. Not happy with it but was able to pull thru it.

Much better workout than mondays shitty ordeal....

Well its the end of week 2 of Mass FX run so i will be preparing a short write up off my thoughts to this point....
