If this isn't allowed i apologize and will remove post as soon as I'm notified.

I was just curious as to how many people other than myself have their own lab set up. Do you make only one compound or multiple? If it's allowed in this forum, maybe we can exchange some recipes, if not then all is well anyways lol.

I'd love to get my own rig set up. If I ever have a few extra $$ laying around I'll invest. From all my research it really doesnt look too difficult at all...would you agree?

I feel as if it's not difficult for some. If you have a good understanding of mathematics and science/chemistry then it is actually a nice hobby. It does take dedication as there can be nothing wrong, anywhere. You wouldn't believe the people I've seen have set ups that were unsterile or either used methods that will contaminate the products. Everything has to be precise and sterile. I cannot stress that enough. Accuracy and safety are the number one concerns. You don't want underdosed gear, or contaminated gear, or spend money and time cooking a batch that crashes because you measured inaccurately or didn't know the properties of the compound. All in all I enjoy it though.

Very simple. your screwing yourself an arm and leg by buying 10ml vials from someone. Not hard to keep things sterile and sanitized.
All I make is 20ml vials. And sterilization is not anything to pass off lightly. As simple as it seems to be, just the slight amount of negligence can have you or someone else with an abscess/infection. You always run the risk of that when pinning, but why increase probability?

When I sat down to do the math I laughed for a week. Pennies compared to what people pay for good ugl.

Yes depending on how good of a source you have, it's ridiculous how much you save just brewing raws yourself

Even better; you can buy 4-DHEA powder and NaBH4 and put it in methanol and make 4-androstenediol by the kilo in about 2 hours. One pot mix.

Sterilization is key. You need a lot of 100% isopropyl alcohol to wipe down and/or soak/rinse various implements. You also want a UV box for total decontamination, ideally. In depth research is necessary for sure.

interesting thread. Haven't even really ever thought about this but it would be pretty cool to have your own set up.

Hardest part is getting good concentrations that dont hurt like hell. Filter and alch, prevent most issues, really just dont be filthy. Homebrewing has given me an appreciation for long esters...But, wife loves the smell of guuiacol in the house.

Yeah, definitely smell it through the house. I love it though. And I keep my ba around 3-5 % depending on recipe, but not more than 5% and I always have pain free injections. When I first started I went over 5% and had PIP and a small knot. You learn from mistakes sometimes.

I think it's so great that you guys are able to do this.

I'm on the opposite spectrum! I have next to no understanding. But with that, a realization that this fits my life goals. An analogy for myself is chickens. Have friends who own, and they reap the rewards... eggs every day. I've however also had friends who saw this, jumped on it, and not being committed to the hard work (as all of this takes commitment), it turned out to be more harm than good. Lost time, which is more important, than money.

A different thought for those "intererested"...
There is a difference between being committed to doing something, and being merely interested. Although a skill that is learned, weigh and measure the hours needed. Don't get caught up thinking this is the cool thing to do. As much as I respect this, I'm gladly paying for my TRT out of pocket, trusting my source, even if I'm several hundred percent over.

I’d have thought getting quality raws was challenge or is it not? I’ve always assumed that in the same way we never really now how legit an ugl is can we ever be sure on the raws (unless you have a tried and tested source, but that first time must be an unknown)....?

Out of all the sources I've tried I have two that were legit and solid sources. I use my own products so I know if it is bad gear or not and do not keep anything I wouldn't use myself. I love doing this myself. It has became one of my personal hobbies. There are so many variations of recipes so it takes time and experience to get a blueprint that yields solid consistent results.

I used to home brew all my own shyte. It’s very easy. Beaker, glass stir rods, benzyl alcohol, benzyl benzoate and grapeseed oil. Add the BA and BB at 2% and 20%(of total liquid volume) respectively to your powder, then heat and stir until it’s clear and all the little swirlies are gone.

Yeah talkin about a 20 year supply of medicine for $100 worth of powder. Only legal substances of course ;)

Yep I respect that bro. Figured that was the way it was but I guess it’s the sources that turn out not to be great on the way to finding the ones you trust that worry me.
