Holy Sh*t Bush Has Made War Protest Illegal !!!

One interesting trend I have been noticing over the last 5 years or so, is that the Bush Administration has been making slight modifications to the scope of what the executive office will even deal with, in terms of law enforcement agenda.

This is due mostly to the perceived threat of terrorism,
which the previous administration did not address.

Every directive or law signed into place could easily be challenged and over turned in a court of law and many have been challenged and over turned.

It just seems there is a lot of outrage that is generated every time one of these directives is enacted. There is always this Bush is turning the USA into a Fascist state argument, being debated by both sides. It seems to do nothing but generate fear and distrust of the executive branch

Now of course a lot comes from the Bush opposition, but the fact that the Bush administration supporters even bother to debate some of these claims only bolsters their justification.

Bobo, correctly points out that this agenda has been moving forward since well before GWB, Clinton really got the ball rolling after the Oklahoma City bombings.

My take is that for some reason their is movement to discredit the Executive branch of our government; Clinton as a immoral sex fiend and now Bush as a Hitler-like puppet for private interests.
There also seems to be sentiment that our US Constitution is in jeopardy of being dismantled.

It is not, the US Constitution can never be dismantled, not as long as the United States exists as a sovereign state.

A republic is only as strong as the documents from which it draws its powers. The United States has the best documents ever conceived, and even Bush has done little to effect these documents.

The concern is that the execution of the rights granted under these documents will be doled out to an elite group of wealthy people who can afford legal representation.

More seriously is a concern that the citizens have lost faith in the constitution's ability to protect our rights, due to manipulation by the executive branch.

Those people who are not among the elite can have their citizenship questioned or outright disrupted by the system
which is a form of discrimination and segregation, that this republic was formed to stand against!

There seems to be a movement to dismiss the United states as a failed republic, that fell into the hands of fascists.

It is at this point where the world government players come in with talk of the North American Union.

We practically already are the North American Union since we allow illegal immigration LOL.

I think most Americans would say the system is not perfect (no system is) but it is the best in the world IMO. I seem to get most the of kids who are in ESL for my PE. I have at least 1 student who is a native Spanish, Russian, Vietnamese, Chinese, or Cambodian speaker in every class.

If everything was so bad in the US of A then I don't think these people would go through the trouble of immigrating to a new country.
