Holding fat on my chest

So I’m a former fat kid and growing up I had “moobs”. Over years of weight loss it decreased but I naturally hold fat on my chest and it seems like slightly more so on the left side. I’m 90% sure it isn’t gyno or prolactin related, I was just big as hell previously ??*♂. I’m about to start a cut but I wanted to get your guys opinions, never saw a six pack before even at my smallest (135lbs) but I didn’t really have any muscle then either. Think it’ll go away with more weight loss?
6 foot tall, 194lbs
Bench: 200lbs
Squat: 300lbs
Deadlift: 355lbs
Incline Dumbbell BP: 85lbs each side
Been training for a little over a year, now on TRT.

As you lose more weight it will go away slowly. I still have a little but as I cut, it is going down.

I just wonder if it’s a genetic thing or fat left over I didn’t burn when I lost a bunch of weight. I lost it pretty rapidly and my stomach was completely flat at 135 but there was still fat I needed to get rid of on the chest. I’m doing a more controlled cut than I’m used to at 2500cal since I was bulking at 3500cal, just so I can slowly lower if I stop losing weight. I used to think the only way to lose weight was at 1500cal a day lmao.

Some people just hold more fat on their chest and its the last to go. I think I remember MrKleen73 saying something about his being the same as well.

Honestly bro, there’s a pretty good chance that chest isn’t going to tighten regardless of how lean you get.

I’m in the same boat, if you check my thread in the anabolic cycle logs my starting pics I was relatively lean (last sunmer I got really lean, veins and abs popping etc, there’s a pic on here somewhere), yet that saggy skin on the chest remains. I was also really fat for a number of years.

Everyone is different and the skin is remarkable but just looking at your pics I think it’s similar to me.

That said, I’m going to run eq next year, that improves collagen synthesis, plus a peptide stack that goes the same. That may help. But deep down I’m pretty sure I’m never getting rid of it......

I try to look at it as a reminder of how far we’ve come.

Just don’t want to give you false expectations brother

How old are you?
You thinking the younger the more possibility for skin to tighten? I know age plays a part but so does amount of time spent overweight. Everything I’ve seen suggests that around 2 years after weight loss is when the skin has done what it can do.....I infered (maybe incorrectly) that the weight loss occurred some years back

I’m doing a slight cut, not sure how long I’ll be doing it for though. I’ve been bulking over the past 6 months. Can’t really get good pictures of my physique where I’m at but I’m a lot bigger than I was before. Stomach and love handles are just getting too out of hand for my liking. I’ll start a recomp and then a lean bulk mid summer.

Thanks man! I’m not gonna do keto or anything super strict like that, I tend to feel like **** and my weight loss stops and strength as well. 190g protein, roughly 200g carbs, 90g of fats mainly healthy ones.
Clean food for the most part, will probably lower my carbs on rest days and I might do keto towards the end if I really stalk on my weight loss but I’m trying to go slow this time. I feel like I’m a moderately sized strong dude but my pants are getting hard to put on now lol.

I also wanna add that at previous cuts my test was at 100-300ng/dL so that may have played a role.

No, thats a good point though. Younger people tend to tighten up faster and better than say if someone was fifty years old and lost a lot of weight.

Twenty four is very, very young to be on trt.

Thats pretty low test for 24 y/o though. Ever talk to an endocrinologist (before suggest a TRT) know the ups and downs. If you want TRT balanced and monitored right an Endocrinologist will help since you might need TRT if you are consistent in 100-300 ng/dL total test range. Did they check free Test too?

Though I agree with BEAST73, once you drop weight eat right and build chest muscles up the fat and skin could retighten around new muscle there since you are only 24...

If low T is a consistent issue - doc will fix that and then it's game on. Yet Whisky is probably being realistic too with extra skin level.

Radiate+ from RXS which has Yohimbine, no creatine to bloat, is best pre workout even better than Chaos and Pain Ferox pre. And will help you focus and drop stubborn fat.

Fair enough, my personal guess is that it’s probably done most of the tightening that it will. Even when you get really lean imo there will be a sag of skin in that area.

I’m just going off what I’ve found myself bro. That said, personally I’m trying to build more lean mass to fill out the skin (my thought being that building upper chest/shoulders might lift that sagging area), taking a collagen supplement (as you never know) and using peptides for GH (as that can also help).

You have the right attitude about your nutrition bro, just keep going

Yeah, my hormones were a huge issue when I turned 23. Previously was a drug user after a bad accident, antidepressants played a role, plus multiple testicular injuries around the time I was going through puberty. **** sucks.

I spoke with an endo, he said my test wouldn’t ever come back. I tried clomid before hand but didn’t really respond. I got to around 400ng/dL but went back down when I got off and from the sides I had to keep my test at that level I’d just rather not be on clomid. My original endo wanted me on 80mg cyp a week and raised it to 100mg a week but I was still only at 400ng/dL and was having estrogen sides at the beginning of the week on 100mg which is insane but I aromatize quickly apparently. He wouldn’t help with that and said it was in my head, said HCG was a myth basically, and just wasn’t helpful at all. Recently got a piece of mail from him after cancelling an appointment and he said to drop my dose to 50mg a week. Not happening lol.
Went with an HRT specialist that put me on 200mg of cyp a week and 1mg of arimidex (not enough but they’re fixing that) and HCG but oddly enough even HCG isn’t fixing atrophy or anything.

You just have to cut that's it. Keep protein high and go lower on carbs and fat. Adding muscle will tighten it. You are holding a little fat everywhere not just the chest. My advice is to cut and don't be scared of losing muscles. Sometimes you have to sacrifice to be able to go forward. Make it right the first time, look up a good diet that you can enjoy and stick with. Are you going to run any steroids with trt?

I’ve already dropped 8lbs on a 2,500cal diet. I’m doing 35% protein, 35%carbs, 30% fats and I’ll adjust my ratios if weight loss stops. I do 10 minutes moderate speed on the treadmill with a level 6-7 incline then 5 minutes on the stair stepper at level 10, do my lifting then another 10 minutes of stair stepper at level 8-10 to end my workout. I have some androhard at my other place which is 3 hours away so I’m waiting to run that, 300mg of epi and 300mg and Randro per day.
I might be getting sent some anavar with my next TRT order as well so I’d run that at 25mg twice a day or just take the whole 50mg in the morning. Also taking 300mg 7-keto per day.

The absolute best cut is to go high protein like 60% 30%carbs and 10%fat. The diet sucks but its most effective. You could switch the carbs and fats around but I bet you'd feel better on carbs. My point with all this was that you'd not gonna burn chest fat I'd you don't burn the rest. You'll definitely get there with the right protocol.

I was going to change things up to that ratio once I hit 185-180lbs then if I stagnate I’ll switch the carbs for fats just to keep things going. My body tends to get used to whatever diet I throw at it and it can stall out easily so I figure if I keep changing the diet but stay in a deficit, just changing my energy source I shouldn’t have much of a problem dropping fat but we will see! I’ll keep posting my progress in this thread.

Also after calculating everything, I’d need 380g of protein, 190g of carbs and 28g of fat per day. Not sure how I can get that much protein in a healthy way per day without having more fats unless I ate nothing but egg whites.

380g/day protein? That’s ~2g/lb/day. That seems pretty excessive, pretty difficult, and very boring IMO. Especially for a natty who isn’t excessively muscular.

Don’t mean to butt in too much and complicate things, but ya I feel that’s way above what you’d need protein wise.

I am not always a fan of percents due to issues like that. My usual go to is 1g per pound for protein (maybe more during a deficit), then dividing up the carbs and fats between the rest of the remain calories based on tolerance and preference.

In your case tho I’d definitely drop that protein a bit and up the fats some just to make it easier to follow as far as finding food sources.

Good luck regardless!

There is a major difference between TRT/HRT to get back to normal/optimal levels and use of AAS to reach supraphysiological testosterone levels. I shouldn’t have said natty, but it seemed like OP was just usin prescribed TRT. Did I skim through the thread wrong?

This. That low fat with that high protein will rule out any non-lean meat, and eating nothing but very lean meat and egg whites can get old fast.

You are correct but I’ll be using epi andro and R andro for awhile then transitioning to Anavar (prescribed 50mg ED) so honestly just because it prescribed doesn’t mean it’s not a cycle haha. I’ll be getting it for bone pain from being shot a few times awhile back, they think it could help that but tbh 50mg is a supraphysiological dose considering what most doses are.

Pretty much. I just don’t cook with fat, any fat I get is from a foodstuff such as meat or milk. Makes it easier to keep track and not end up eating 300g fat.

If I don’t pay attention I’ll get 1200g carb and 500g fat in a day easily.

No use for that but to get fatter.

Well he's on anavar and test. Regardless your protein synthesis will probably double while on aas and if we look at what's most effective for cutting nothing beats high protein. It doesn't mean it's a must or that you need 300grams but it does work to eat like that while on aas. It's not gonna be a waste.

300g is one thing; 380 was mentioned earlier IIRC. 300 is doable I think, or even just as a ballpark. But close to 400 for someone who is, no offense intended, not that advanced, seems like it’d be unnecessarily challenging.

Nah I'd agree to that. 300 might even be high for the purpose of muscles but when cutting both carbs and fat are going to be harder to deal with. That being said you shouldn't stay away from any of the three just maybe up the protein more then you would normally if you want the most effective diet.

Maaaaan it sucked ass haha. Honestly the recovery is worse than actually being shot though. As far as enhancement goes I am totally excited for pharma grade var! I know it’s kind of hit or miss from UGLs. I’m more excited to see if it really does help my bone pain though, my doc said as long as I take care of my liver/kidneys and my lipids he could possibly approve me for 3-4 cycles a year albeit I have to have bloodwork before each one and a physical after 2 cycles but that’s routine.

I can relate to this post on a spiritual level lol. I too was a fat kid growing up and I too hold fat on my chest. You're looking pretty good though tbh - you have some noticeable muscle built up.

Keep going with the cut and eventually it'll go away

I just wonder if it’s a genetic thing or fat left over I didn’t burn when I lost a bunch of weight. I lost it pretty rapidly and my stomach was completely flat at 135 but there was still fat I needed to get rid of on the chest. I’m doing a more controlled cut than I’m used to at 2500cal since I was bulking at 3500cal, just so I can slowly lower if I stop losing weight. I used to think the only way to lose weight was at 1500cal a day lmao.
IMHO, you still have a long way to go. It looks as if you may have really lost a good amount of weight really really quick. My guess would be in the last 6months. You are not alone brother. So the excess sag isn’t quite a bit of skin ignore I had to guess. But it does look like gyno at all. Tbh I would rather be in your situation than the situation I have been in, in the past. Gyno has more or less an effect on the nipple region. If you had it you chest would be more pointy and the nipples puffy. So being that you are on trt you Doctor is Doin a fantastic job at helping you keeping your e2 in check. Out of curiosity how much Test and I am guessing you are using arimidex, what is your protocol he has you on. But good new is I would say from the picture you don’t have gyno. I can’t give you an answer on how much your skin will tighten up. That will depend a lot on diet and cardio. But you have a good road ahead. Don’t give up
