HokiePride Gains on XTEND & Beyond, {Summer 16}

Solid work !

No doubt, thanks bro. Going to compete in November in powerlifting Meet. Hopefully, by then I can start showing my year results. Continue on with the reconstructing of my leaner self into 2017.

No doubt, thanks bro. This is my main log. Right now I'm logging XTEND. Once that's complete I'll continue on with this one. Needed a permanent home for logging since USPLABS cancelled all ours out, such a shame.

Oh man I wasn't aware . Well if u tagg . Make sure u tag me . Im always on !!! I heard xtend is great !

HokiePride Gains on XTEND & Beyond, {Summer 16}

Deload Week! Took some time off to think about things and get reset for the Fall. Planning to make a comeback in the Powerlifting circuit. Focused on lowering bf but staying stable with the strength. Ready to get back into the thick of things. Hit everything light. Xtend has maximized my lifting and allowed me
Maximum recuperation. Can't get over the taste but I'm definitely dependent on my BCAA's. Volume across the board has increased, my waistline has been decreasing and the rest I get by getting plenty of BCAA's in my system has been phenomenal.

Polished off the week with this workout and o ensure I hit everything twice this week. Increasing the weight by 20lbs on Deadlifts for sets of 5x5 and squats. Bench I maintained at the set weight I ended with last week. This being Flat Bench/CGB/Incline. I will perform this tomorrow. It will be an all out Chest destruction, low sets high weight and throw in some Slingshot sets if I have a spotter. This is always a guess if I can get someone to help. Overall, XTEND is a staple. No DOMS to speak of. Volume is massive. I have also added in 30 minutes of cardio 3x a week this week. I'm slowly leaning and funny thing is I'm not giving myself enough credit for my size, muscle density and lower bf. I have some pockets to get rid of but my physique will shine once the stubborn pockets are gone. The extensive travel and long shifts don't help but I'm doing something I never believed I was capable.

Love that detail man any chance you can update us at least 2-3x a week or is a big update once a week easier ?

Love the brutal honesty and detail

Brutal, since incorporating the leg press again things have gotten very scary. Working on bringing Leg Development up and it's time to hit them a bit more often. At times, beginning this month it will be 2-3 times a week. This was considered heavy day. I will also isolate hamstrings on day 2. XTEND Perform has brought me to a whole level. I won't go a day without it. I ensure to get my daily doses, even on off days. Recovery is insane. Over the weekend I got a bit down due to a sinus infection. By staying on point, I was out one day this week but kept up the grind and taking my BCAA's faithfully. I don't have time to lay around and relax.

In 2-3 sentences how would you describe how much Xtend perform has helped you in and out of the gym ?

Xtend has helped immensely in both inside and outside the gym. I have seen great results in recovery but also in extending the workouts. I have been able to hit higher volume of sets and reps and continually push my body to the best limits. I have gained strength and muscle, even being in a caloric deficit. I have also broken ground on my best lifts in the Squat/Bench/Deadlift. Xtend also has allowed me to still train even at my lowest levels of strength, from fatigue. I work out of town and even drive 30 minutes to the gym after or before work. Sometimes operating off of 4-5hrs of sleep, I have managed to stay on track. I work 12hr shifts and at times several days in a row. Xtend is an awesome BCAA and it helps you to perform at your best.

Update

Hows it been going the last 4 days big hokie?

Going into final week with Perform Xtend. My training has taken a new direction. After spending some time repairing the muscle from damage {training} I've found some new research to push the limits even further. Lately I've been experimenting with some things I learned from the Master Arnold S. After noticing my bicep/tricep development isn't where I wish it be I've placed one of my weakest exercises paired with a large muscle group {Pullups/Bench}. After taking my weight/height into consideration. I've figured I'm going to hit the upper portion three times a week and lower portion three times a week. If I can't hit the gym, light workouts with high volume {calisthenics} will do the trick. This is going to be epic, why? Two reasons. I'm on the verge of purchasing a home near my hometown and selling current home by months end. This adds a new element to my fatigue levels in travel. I can hit the parks with a vengeance with the kiddos. While they monkey around on the swing set or bars, so will I.

Anyways, currently I've begun my new mass attack and first workout felt great but not enough work put in. Upping the anti after resting today. Tomorrow back at it.
No excuses. Perform Xtend allows me to hydrate much deeper than before and feed my muscles the proper nutrients to hit these workouts. I'll give in and weigh myself tomorrow to give a stand point of where I will end since beginning this initial journey with Xtend. Beginnning measurement was 366lbs. Excited to see where I am today.

Incline Bench 10 sets x 10 ss w/
Pullups @ 5 x 5

Then Did some bicep curls.

Final Word

Final workout consisted something quick and simple!

Flat Bench Press
10 x 10 @ 315lbs

Summary
I have seen a great change in recovery in and outside the gym. This past week I was able to put up some great volume with heavier weight. The workouts were shorter but more intense. The final workout is an example of how Xtend allowed me to push through an injury these past two months and yet come back at will and lift heavy. I missed some days due to travel and working 12hr shifts but taking Xtend perform pre/intra/post workout allowed for me to push through.

Recovery is happening twice as fast for same muscle groups worked. I actually hit chest three times in a 7 day period. Getting ready for a bench competition in November. This is definitely a staple in my supplement protocol. Along with gym, I have used it upon waking to get a boost to work the 12hrs shifts, drive 30 minutes to the gym and smash the weights. No problem in maintaining and gaining. This product is phenomenal.

Based on my results I would place this number one over any BCAA product. I used to use Xtend religiously and got away from it when a certain company came out and was taking the market by storm. Since being reintroduced I will never sway from it again. My only gripe is they come out with more traditional flavors.

Thanks again for the opportunity. The Solution & 1Fast400

Bonus Update:

Bench - 135x10, 225x10, 315x10, 405x3, 405x3, 405x2, 315x18, 225x30 - with no spotter

This is what Xtend Perfom does when you take it for a couple months-Take control of your body and feed it the necessary nutrients.

Hows the body comp? Recovery? Endurance and all else holding up?

have you also noted any changes the last week or so?
Hows the body comp? Recovery? Endurance and all else holding up?

This was just a bonus update. I've completed logging since running out of product last Sunday. This is the results of remnants of utilizing it for two months. This is the biggest change I noted since I track it the hardest since I'm trying to compete bench only in November @ York Barbell in York pa. It's been an awesome run. I love Perform Xtend. I was even disappointed I found out late that they discontinued the X-Jug. Anyways, recovery is awesome in and out the gym. Working 12's has pushed me to the limit. Having to be alert and working 12 of last 14 days @ 12HR intervals and still hitting the gym is an awesome feeling but at some point fatigue can possibly get the best of you. Xtend Perform has allowed me to Xtend beyond that threshold. I can't speak enough about this product. I have to test it to the max utilizing cardio fully mixed in.

Endurance is wonderful. I seem to be able to be fully recovered regardless of what I deal with daily. I ensure to get a double dose daily or twice a day rather. In terms of leaning I was told yesterday I look smaller. It's a complement considering I'm increasing my strength, yet leaning out. It's a slow process yet working to my advantage. Being I am 6'5" places me in a category that just isn't normal at my weight, people seem to think I played football all my life. ROFL. I just train hard and used the excess weight to build a better body. BCAA's paly a key role in nutrition in my opinion.

As far as everything else......It's something I can't control but in process of buying/selling home, setting up movers, inspections on both homes, appraisals and job hunting. Doing all these things with the people involved and coordinated this massive change without knowing where you will end up working or paying for a new home is all faith. On top of that knowing any day your employer can call you to the front office and say "today is your day to be let go." They started working their way through the individuals named as the employees being terminated, I'll be final one of 131. Yeah, try keeping it together all the while having been traveling 3.5 hrs for over a year and some months every couple weeks to see your family, while living in a small apt with your mother in law. Try remaining focused, imagine being the one going through it. I live it daily. When you ask how recovery, endurance and trailing is going? My answer is great because without the proper nutrients {XTEND PERFORM} & clean dieting....it would be impossible to maintain and stay focused.
