hmb...one dose or split?

does anyone know of any benefit gained while taking a split dose of hmb (say 4g twice daily), or could i just take it all at once?

HMB has a short half-life in the blood (2-3 hours), therefore it should be taken in divided doses throughout the day.

thanks for the info. i was hoping to only have to choke that garbage down once a day. while i'm pushing my luck here...anyone know the half-lifes of cee, aakg, and okg?
