Hives from exercise

Almost a year ago, I began breaking out into hives, but just on my hands and feet. Several months later during exercise, I started breaking out over most of my legs and torso. I also experienced some asthma at the same time. According to my homework, my symptoms indicate I have exercise-induced urticaria. Spoke to three doctors (general, derm, allergy) and the best solution I could get was to use allergy medicines for the time being, and maybe it'll just disappear on it's own.

Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this.

Interesting.

I remember my preceptor mentioning something like this when I was getting my EMS cert.
Your body is releasing histamines from the stressed placed on it by weight training. Good luck, man.

I've never had this but I had bad allergies as a kid and still do have ****ty allergies and used to break out in hives, most you can do is take some benadryl [non-drowsy] and keep up the lifting. Plus I have sports-related asthma and I don't let that decide anything for me.

Used to happen to me when I played sports, never had a problem with it lifting weights. According to the Dr I have a high histamine level, and he prescribed me claritin. Not sure if it was stronger than the OTC claritin, but I'm guessing any OTC anti-histamine will do.
