HIIT Workouts

I tried to do an HIIT workout today because I've seen great results (on the Internet) before. So today I did 10 rounds of hill sprints, with 30 seconds rest between each round.
It was tough, but I didn't feel like I accomplished anything. Did I just not do enough, too much rest time, or what?

Sounds good man if you pushed yourself your metabolism will be bumped up for the next 16 - 24 hrs. Which if you keep your diet clean you should notice a difference in the scale an tape after a couple weeks. There's a lot of ways to incorporate HIIT into training to help cut and even build muscle. I do HIIT 3x a week

So I'm not doing anything wrong? Should I increase the amount of rounds, decrease the rest times, or am I set where I am at?

How big is the hill? I do bike sprints at the gym at the end of one of my HIIT routines I sprint 30 secs rest 30 for 10 mins. So you should be good unless it's a small hill. Make sure to spread out your stride you will feel it a lot more

I don't necessarily know how to describe a hill, but from base to top, it's about 20-25 feet

There's another hill nearby that is about triple in length of the hill I used. Not as steep though. Would that be a better option?

I see DevilDog is of great help though for more options I would like to suggest something. Not sure what exactly you mean by, "rest" but if it is literal rest as in sitting/standing there (and I'm sure trying to catch your breath) you could instead do a much lower pace movement such as walking if there is a nearby strip to do that or a light jog to keep yourself going. That's usually how I do it. If it seemed as easy as you say, maybe keeping yourself going with a light jog will add some more intensity. Again, just an option. Hope that helps! Happy Training!

Thanks man, I'll try it out!
