Hi all, I have been on cycle with LGD and Ostarine for 8 weeks now and lately I have been getting really tired, achy, not sleeping and my feet/ankle have been swelling really bad. I got bloods done and my dr said my Iron count and kidney/livers values were high (my test was actually still in range and fine apparently) I have got another blood test to check for hemochromatosis, waiting on the results for that.

I was wondering if you think the swelling of the feet/ankles and the high iron could be a result of the sarms? I have had stomach issues, sleep issues for a long time, but it is a first for swelling of the ankles and the rest has been worse lately. I have started pct now and upped my cycle assist supps

I am thinking the swelling of the feet is probably kidney/liver related from the sarms, just not too sure about the high Iron whether that is hereditary/made worse by the sarms and then in turn also effecting the kidney/liver. I am seeing my dr about this just wanted some input or advice in the mean time I guess

Absolutely, it could be a result of the sarms. I’d be really surprised if it wasn’t. I’d drop that **** immediately.

Yeah stopped it already and on PCT, just still got lingering effects. I have used sarms and AAS/PH in the past and never had this issue, but it could happen at anytime I guess haha

Ferritin is an acute phase reactant - will trend high with inflammation. If your liver enzymes were high it could be a sign of a drug related hepatitis. Of course needs the full work up for other disease things it could be which is what it sounds like your doctor is doing.

20mg ostarine (behemoth Labs) and 10mg lgd (cutting edge sarms, powder)
That’s all you were taking was just those two at those dosages? It’s not impossible, everybody is different with their genetic predispositions and pre-existing conditions, but I’d be really surprised if those SARMs did that. I’m not doubting you whatsoever I totally believe you. Just trying to assist in putting the pieces of the story together. I’m glad you stopped and are doing well now, man.

Do you know a lot about the companies you got them from or have you taken anything else from those companies? What type of results were you seeing from the SARMs? It’s possible that what you were getting wasn’t LGD or Ostarine. I’ve seen companies that were reliable for years, whose products I’d taken several times, spike their products with other compounds out of nowhere.

Just bringing that up because it could be useful for others on the forum to know whose products to stay away from.

Yeah man 100% that is all I took, I have used them both before and had no issues whatsoever from both companies. I have been having ongoing gut issues for a long time now and bouts of extreme exhaustion, stomach pains, joint pains and all these other things, but we have never been able to find out what is actually wrong with me, never been exacerbated by sarms or anabolic before and never had swollen ankles before. I have just woken up now and my ankles have actually gone down with swelling, so I am hoping it doesnt start up again, gonna keep an eye on them over next few hours

Just a follow up on this, foot has gone down a lot. I am still getting swelling around the ankle (sock line) kinda comes over a little bit like a muffin. Dr not worried, I think I need to see some kind of specialist for my other health issues and stay off anabolics for awhile. Skin is very patchy around that area

Sounds like a good course of approach

Eq and tren are the once’s you hear about regarding the kidneys .Any of the methyls particularly the ones that cause water retention can do it as well.

is the issue with methylated compounds that they spike BP and the high BP has a nasty effect on the delicate kidney filters ... or do the compounds themselves directly "attack" the kidney?
mainly through BP/filtration afaik but some reports out there of FSGS. I think these are more with very high doses for long periods of time in the really big guys though

Update, legs are pretty good... feet look lean again, but ankles still have swelling especially around the sock line is pretty bad. I think I am too fat atm haha, starting a diet, hopefully this helps a bit too.
