High Free Estradiol: What does it mean?

My free estradiol was slightly above the reference range. What is free estradiol? What can I do to lower it?
I began taking DIM, I seem to loose some bloat and sweat less, as strange as that sounds.

My concern is that I cannot take this long term, making it a poor option.
Any suggestions?

So whats the smart move here? My total estrogen was actually 17, which isn't high. Im just trying to figure it out.

Depending on how you measure, assuming you mean pg/ml lower levels in males is 14.
