hGH and baseball pitchers

Ok, so I know most guys inject hGH sub-q into the lower ab. Where would a baseball pitcher inject and how? Doesn't it have to be injected sub-q? Would they just pull back the skin and shoot in their elbow and shoulder?

Just somthing that has really got my attention and I dont have an answer.

The effects of HGH are systemic not local. It's better shot subq is a fatty region of the body - short half life.
