I didn't have anyone beat the daylights out of me either today. Never do in the gym, always a good card to keep in the deck for meet day.

Is it bad that I didn't notice it? I was more worried about passing out from keeping one breath with that ungodly long setup.
 
Focus a tad more on squeezing the glutes and pulling it towards you slightly earlier. You probably wouldn't have gotten a down command, but it's training. Baby powder and a slap and you'll nail it.

Your 605 def moved faster than mine. So, I don't doubt it!

Eh, our lock outs were similar, but you stuck with yours. I'm going to do block pulls today for assistance and bring in some baby powder next time and life will be good.

Not sure how to incorporate chains or bands when I use the bar roll, but I'd like to.

Almost passed out on my top set of rack pulls. That was another one breath set. Been working on one breath triples of late. Makes life so much easier during the set.

Not horrible. Its actually really smooth and clean energy. Its just easy to cross the threshold on it.

Baby brother cleaned 245 and told me I couldn't, so I loaded the bar to 250 and tried a few times, then he cleaned it. I moved my grip out to pinkies just inside the ring and slapped another 2.5 on each side and hit it. I hit my Adam's Apple with 250 on a power clean and couldn't catch it. Makes me wonder how I'd do at WL...
 
And herder, I saw a video of Brandon Lilly cleaning 315 and he about knocks himself in the chin with it before getting under it. WL'ing is a whole 'nother game...

Sucks about the benching, but I'm sure it's just an off day. How's the pec?

Pecs okay. Just had no power today. Couldn't figure out the shirt today.
 
Played basketball for a couple hours. Can't stop the train like I used to, and I hurt a lot. But I'm more athletic than I thought I'd be. Not much more though.

Have you ever done any kinda WL before?
It's a tough addiction, wish my shoulders could handle it better

Did a ton of power cleans and hang power snatches in college. Like a ton. I could hit 225x5 power clean to front squat with a slow work up and 3x10 back squat with 275 after that, twice a week, but I was too heavy for my weight class so I usually had to cut a ton of lifting and do a ton of running in season. But no, no real weightlifting coaching or any of that.

Mixed up a packet of it. Close friend saw it was stimul8. Told he his experience. Said it wasnt worth it. I tossed the packet. Ill never be trying it. I know you're rep. But some things just arnt worth trying to me.

I think too many people start out with too much thinking their tolerance is high based on other supps. A full scope is too much for me, and I can double scoop other pres.

It's not for everyone, but certainly nothing to be scared of starting at 1/2 dose.

Game day is a good one too. That, STIMUL8, and SpeedX3 are some of my favs.

I hear a lot of good things about Conquor but the sample pack I tried made me feel horrible. Prob should've started at 1/2 there, too.
 
Stimul8 is solid. Not overly strong to me. I have a pretty good tolerance...so about 1/3 or DMax. One thing that is crazy is it makes me sweat my balls OFF! Right off. But it doesn't raise my heart rate too much or give shortness of breath like too much yohimbe does to me.
 
I'm with you, Rob. Good tolerance, and it doesn't Jack up my rate of respiration like ephedra does.
 
It's at least worth a try, man. I love it.

Ill suck it up. I need a good pre. I hate using ephedrine as often as i do as i prefer to keep that pre meet. The other pres i own dont seem to kick me into gear when i need it most. I love prewo caffeine. But when im dragging none of them just turn it on for me.

I've tried a million supps w/ yohimbe, and they all annihilate my strength and make me feel like I have fever. Stimul8 is no exception. Gameday was a joke as well. Jack3D Advanced I gave 2 tubs away - gave them. Literally anything with yohimbe is a no go preworkout - dieting is one thing, but when you're getting under the bar optimizing performance is numero uno, not merely tolerating something. Some people aren't meant for some ingredients.

Amp Citrate on the other hand, I really love. Will make you sweat a lot, but like a smoother DMAA with less of a letdown. Tolerance builds just as fast, but I perform better and feel good doing it. LGI's Fully Loaded AMPlified is really pleasant, and OL's Demigod Conqu3r has a nice dose of Amentoflavone to really sweeten the deal. Stack with your daily dose of bulk Creatine Mono and SFW.

Lou, any particular reason you don't just take straight caffeine tabs pre? It's dirt cheap and you can avoid the issues you mentioned above.

Actually ran it all meet day last week, treated me really well. Stacked it with some PES High Volume too just for the Amento - think it was Rob who turned me on to Amento, but that stuff is awesome for strength.

PM me if you'd like me to mail you a scoop or two from my own tub - Green Apple. Not really an all in one; primarily energy but it's spot on & I'd buy it again.
 
I Force Max out is very solid non-yohimbe pre. I also dislike the abundance of yohimbe these days, but the amount of 400mg caffeine preworkouts is discouraging to me on what companies are doing. Give correct doses of ergogenic components and so the guys who want like 2-300 can use your pre and actually get the benefits of the non-stim ingredients. And it's completely normal Hyde. You know how everyone says "well everyone is different?" Well yohimbe actually have scientific based evidence that yohimbe actually is legitimately different in everyone up to and including the compounds half life. Crazy stuff.

I work at a supp shop atm. I get a lot of stuff for free. But besides that its bc i have caffeine regularly in the morning if i train later in the day. My main concern just eating the tabs is my tolerance will build up and ill become a 400mg per sitting kinda guy. Using a mixed stim pre and straight caffeine at all other times has seemed to keep my tolerance down. Im leaning towards going this route in the near future tho. Hate the beta alanine tingles and cant tolerate yohimbe really limits my pre choices anyways.

Dude i understand where you're coming from. I work at the same place you do. The pres out now, are largely junk.

There is literally like 5 or 6 I would buy if it didn't take 400mgs caffeine to get effective amounts of the other stuff. Craziness. Max out is boss mode though IMO. I like Olympus labs conquer as well. I wish PES would put another stimmer out as well.
 
And Lou, we all know that people who lift don't work at supplement places so this isn't true :D
