HEMATOCRIT UPDATE WTF

Im with Crisler on this and Dave palumbo for that matter. I donated every three months fist few years on trt. Now Im thinking once or twice a year.

Shelby Starnes found his Iron or ferritin levels were going too low after he donated , from his meticulous lab results. I think he said it was from too much donating Low ferritin and iron levels just isnt healthy

I found through my own blood work my crit and globin levels go up on cycle, not real high though, 18.5, maybe 54 and when I go back on trt they go down, after a month or longer, to 16.5-17 without donating

When you were donating too much, were you experiencing heart palpitations?

WELP, just got back from the cardiologist. I'm fine. He told me I'm fine like 30 times in a row lol. He doesn't like the idea of me using anabolics but whatever. As far as the heart palpitations go they are totally normal so guess I'm good in that department. did you guys know that too much vitamin D3 can cause calcification of the blood leading to heart arythmia??? I didn't know that. Found out today. No more D3 for me. Only natural sources from now on.

^ya thats why its recommended to use k2 as well. Prevents that sh1t from occuring.

If youre getting approx 700mcg per week you should be all good.

Yeah I have no idea how much I'm getting. Hopefully it's enough. I've come to the conclusion that if I just eat whole foods that are organic and grass fed, I should get all the vitamins required. Beef chicken fish, whole eggs, bacon, real cheese like feta or brie for example, avocado, veggies dark greens and essential oils and fats and I think that's basically all you gotta do. Toss out all that processed garbage and I think you got everything you need.

Glad to hear you’re OK. Stay healthy man.

Yeah bro so far so good. Also my ferretin was 33 before I donated and I have since donated on Monday so I am going to assume my ferretin is now officially in the low range, but I am still running just fine at work and on Thursday I did squats and felt just fine, in fact I actually upped the weight a little so I guess I'm still ok......FOR NOW! dun dun dunnnnnn....

Interesting thread. Need to check my hematocrit soon. The last I saw it was 49 I believe about a month ago. Only using 110mg test per week though. Ferritin is 120 so if I have to donate, no problem.

Did ur cardiologist happen to have u wear a holter monitor???

I did for like a month found out i have a sinu tachycardia that has.progressed from a brachyardia, and doc completly forgot to tell me and then i had to get on heart meds,

I was waking from sleep every night, like i had been running a race.or fighting someone,

Check for sleep apnea

I have an anxiety disorder as well as a heart issue, sleep apnea machine doesnt stop my heart from beating out of rythym, no matter how many groups u can show were tested, most are bs....

Speaking of anxiety, I too suffer from anxiety which I'm probably going to assume is some kind of a post tramatic stress type of thing. Anyways, last night I awoke and my left arm was numb(obviously because I slept on it) and immediately assumed I was having a heart attack. I lunged out of bed and ran down stairs and grabbed my phone about to call 911, my heart was pounding outta my chest and then I realized I was freaking out so I started to calm down, then my arm got back to normal, AND THEN IT WENT NUMB AGAIN! but at that point I just told myself to chill and eventually everything stopped and I went back to bed. Needless to say I'm fine. I think my mental health is the most damaged. My hematocrit does rise rather quickly tho. But yeah I'm nuts

I'm in new England. Normal elevation I guess. The highest I ever been was 55-57ish. Interestingly enough, I end up with very high hemoglobin but a lower than usual hematocrit. For example when my hemoglobin was tested at 17.3 my hematocrit was only 48%. So I wonder when my hemoglobin was 19.3 how high my hematocrit actually was...
