HELP!!

Hey everyone,

I'm completely new to this and wanted to get some advice before jumping into my first cycle. I'm 5'9", 156 lbs, and looking to build lean muscle. I've been training consistently and eating right, and now I'm considering running my first testosterone cycle to help with gains.

I’m planning to start with just Testosterone (Test E or Test C), but I’m not sure what a good beginner dosage would be. I’ve seen a lot of mixed advice online, so I’d really appreciate some experienced feedback.

Also – I’ve read that I’ll need to add something for estrogen control (AI) but I’m a bit confused about what exactly I need and how much. I want to avoid gyno or any bad side effects if possible.

So, here are my main questions:

  1. What’s a safe and effective test dosage for a first-timer?
  2. What anti-estrogen (AI) should I be using, and how often?
  3. Is there anything else I should be running alongside test for support?
  4. Any advice on post-cycle therapy (PCT) planning?

Again, this is my first time and I’m not looking to go crazy – just want to do it smart, learn, and build lean mass without hurting myself long-term.

Thanks in advance for any advice or recommendations you can give!

How old are you?
How long have you been lifting natty CONSISTENTLY?

Those 2 questions will dictate the advice that you receive

Have blood work drawn BEFORE you run a cycle. Gives you a baseline of what your test/e2 and overall health are.

Ideally you would want to run test at a level that doesn’t necessitate an AI. That way you know if you run “X” mg of test you don’t need an AI. And maybe second cycle add Masteron or Primobolan(if you can source it) to counter act the need for an AI.

I am not a subject matter expert on this topic but have seen these points/questions a lot

Maybe someone w more experience might want to chime in

Not sure you should be messing with anabolics at 156lbs...feel like you can put a lot of work in the kitchen before considering

I’m 27, but I lost 140lbs in 2 years so I’m back at 156. I can’t gain any muscle I am in the gym everyday

Extremely impressive weight loss, congratulations on that endeavor. I promise im not telling you what to do, but 27 is pretty young, I'm 31 myself and even consider myself too young. I wouldn’t even consider it unless I had crippling low T symptoms. I agree with shadowblaze, get your levels checked, see what’s going on first before starting anything. I know this is the anabolics section, so I’m not trying to be that guy, but natural remedies have come a long way, so much so, I’ve actually been shocked at what some guys have done to their levels with natural supplements. Browse some more on here and see what some of the guys have accomplished numbers wise with supplements, it’s pretty wild!

post up your nutrition break down and training regiment. I have had a lot of skinny friends tell me they can't gain weight and then live off like 800 calories a day.

How did you get to nearly 300lbs without being able to gain weight? I used to be over 400lbs and lost 230lbs (20 yrs ago). No where along this journey have I ever turned into a hard gainer.

Nice work on weight loss. 15lbs for me is a miracle
Same here! It takes a lot for me to loss weight or at least that's how it feels but i'm sure it's like that for everyone as well.
