In resoponce to BIGRABBIT comment about stunting growth in youth weightlifters and if I was worried about that I have decide to have a little Q&A In which I will try to disspell certain myths about weightraining and why I belive what I belive.p.s. I mean no disrespect to more senior bodybuilders and do correct me if you think what I am saying is in any way wrong or untrue.
MYTH # 1 weight training will stunt your growth and so don’t do it!
Completely untrue. The only way weight training will stunt growth is if you serverly overtrain or most commonly if you don’t take in enough calcium.cal. is absolutely important because cal. Is needed by your muscles in large quanities for muscular contraction.Your body will steal ca. from your bones to feed your muscle so be sure to take a cal. Supplement when your young.
MYTH# 2 steroids will stunt your growth when your young so don’t take them.
Somewhat untrue.CERTAIN steroids will stunt growth because they will matabolism into ESTROGEN. This is what stunts growth in children. Some think that by takeing anti-estrogens with their anabolics they can use compounds like anadrol-50,test,or dino when their still young.I STRONGLY oppose this line of thinking. Even with arimadex not 100% of estrogen is suppressed and so using these drugs when your young is playing russiun roulet. On the other hand drugs like anavar have acutely been used as growth simulaters in children.these workbecause they cause calcium retentsion in humans. Drugs that are safe for young athletes are in my opinon:trenbolone,anavar,winstrol,and primobolan. These drugs are safe from estrogenic effects because the steroid backbone has been in some way modified to protech these drugs from aromotase.
MYTH#3 growth factors cause cancer and are bodybuilding most dangerous drug.
There is acutuly two untruths told here.Number one:IGH-1,MGF and the many other growth factors are linked to cancer in some studies.yet this does NOT mean they cause cancer.as told by the clear chemist himself[Patrick Arnold] linked does mean cause and effect.[ perhaps not exact words but general meaning].i share this belief to the tee and belive that in a non-cancerous person growth factors will not have a harmfull effect in reguards to causeing cancer.The good news is in a lot of ways growth factors are safer than normal anabolics or steroids.less hormonal crash,no gyno for 99% of people,and a powerfull local growth effect instead of a sysmatic one like in steroids.number two untruth in this myth is that growth factors are the most dangerous bodybuilding drugs. This is laughable. Dnp ,insulin,and diuretics are 1000 fold more dangerous than growth factors.case in point,growth factors are currently not known to be that dangerous at all.
MYTH#4 adrogens upregulate adrogen receptors.
This priceless piece of bro lore makes so little sense I don’t see how it was ever thought to be true.if it was,every cycle would be more effective than the last one on a millgram by millgram baseis. Simplely don’t belive this one at all.
MYTH#5 take drugs like avodart because you want to create the purest anabolic with no or very little adrogeric poten.with your cycle.
Hair loss and related problems cause this puseoscience to be propagated. Now I’m not saying there is no risk in very androgeric drugs.There is,but a anabolic that has no androgenic componet would leave the user watery with no hardness.This still didn’t stop even some great chemists and steroid gurus like dan duchaine for looking for the Holy grail of anabolics,which many people thought at one time was a steroid called thiomesterone.very little info was known about this drug in bodybuilding circles,and so it’s rep.grew until it was the perfect anabolic.In reality,even if this was true[which is not by the way] a androgeric drug would have to be used alongside thiomesterone to harden up the gains this “pure” anabolic would give.So unless you have had family problems with baldness,I really woundn’t worry about androgeric side effects.[note:acne can also be a big problem for some people when takeing androgeric drugs,and so anti-ance medicines will be a must to some on heavy androgens.]
MYTH#6 prohormones should be used for some who fear side effects of steroids because these are milder compounds.
Prohormones are great compounds.I’m not trying to put them down at all.still,this crazyness that all prohormones are mild compounds is lies! Methyl-1-test is a prime example.great steroid!potent steroid!and there lies the problem.some thought that M1T was the steroids’eq. Of candy.this is not only totally untrue,but leans to very dangerous ways of using this drug.i heard of some using 60-80 milligrams of this drug per day.to show how much that is ,here what William Llewellyn says in anabolics 2005 on M1T. “A TYPICAL EFFECTIVE ORAL DOSE FOR MEN WILL BE IN THE RANGE OF 5-10 MILLAGRAMS PER DAY,WITH 20 MILLAGRAMS REALLY BEING ON THE EXTREME END FOR THE RECREATIONAL BODYBUILDER.” This show’s how very nat’ive most are on the potent nature of prohormones.and if you think that all of today’s prohormones are friendlier,I fear you are mistaken.take home message,respect the potent nature of many of even today’s prohormones.

Insulin can be used safely.nevertheless,insulin is one of those drugs you can’t mess around with.This part of the myth has luckly been dispelling lately,as people are really understanding the dangers of insulin by looking around their house.what am I talking about you ask?I’m talking about the wide use of insulin by the growing numbers of dieabetics.This comes mostly from overingestion of carbs.Also,unlike most people belive,insulin is deadfully easy to get.one of the absolutes easiest drugs to get in fact.

I am also starting a cycle of x-factor and will be keeping a log.I have one bottle,and will be runing a 1000 millagrams a day for 25-50 days depending on if I can afford another bottle.note.4 caps a day is 1000 millagrams,each cap containing 250 millgrams.
Day 1:just got my bottle of x-factor.I’m excited!!!!I poped two before my workout at:10:30 and 2 respectively( normally workout at 3)and did get a little better pumps than normally.also noticed slightly more endurance.perhaps was a placebo effect.I worked back,chest(my weakness)and biceps today.was overall pretty good day and I was in a good mood.weight is 204 and 5 oz. At start of log(today)
Day 2: so it’s day 2 on x-factor,and here’s the report. Nausea today,but not much else too report.it’s a off day today,with my next workout going to be back and arms in 2 days.Did notice increased hunger.also my chest was slightly sore,but my arms really weren’t.day 2 (night)noticed increased fullness(gluts felt huge!!!)and feeling of well being.really feel increabily better than earily today.not sure what caused this rapid increase in feelings of well-being.DAY:3 Feeling great today,with feelings of well-being increasing thoughout the day.muscles feel very full.I have increased my calories also by 500-1000 I would say.I do not really count calories however.I really feel great about tomorrow mornings’workout!!!!!I am not experiencing any hot flashs or anything like that yet.also I’ve had no problem sleeping.DAY 4:workout went good this morning,with less latic acid buildup for some reason.feel fine today,and hopefully will feel sore tomorrow.nothing else noticeable today
