Help me understand this...

There's a girl I'm trying to date. She broke up with the guy about three months ago. That guy still wants her, she knows that but regularly spends time with him. They cook dinner together, watch movies, go out of town on short trips, etc. She says that he is a good guy and she just wants to stay friends with him. To me this is weird and I don't really understand her logic. Am I missing something? Is this normal thing to do? I don't get it...

I was in a similar situation until a week ago and I definitely sympathize with you. From my own experience, pursuing a girl like that will only lead to heartbreak. Find someone with the emotional maturity to sustain a legitimate relationship with you outside of old boyfriends...trust me on that. Good luck my friend.

well if u do end up with her, she'll still be hangin out with the guy and if u "forbid it," all hell will break loose. not worth it. 7 billion people in this world and more women than men, nice odds on findin a better girl
