I've always felt like quinoa was the carb that took my workouts to the next level. You get the carbs, plus all nine aminos, and I usually cook mine in chicken stock with some added salt, so it all works well to promote strength. It seems to promote a better pump than other carbs imo but that could just be my physiology.
