Hcg, possibly into vein

As injecting hcg into my quad with an insulin pin, and felt the needle go thru something. I aspirated, no blood so I injected. 10 seconds later I got a weird taste in my mouth. Not sure if I injected directly into a vein or not, does it matter that much? Did I just waste that injection?

Doubt it matters although I have no idea how long the half life would be for IV.

Sounds like you DEFINITELY hit a vein of some sort.. it's ok for IV and should be fine. Half Life may be slightly effected but probably not much.
