hCG help

Hi guys, I have a question about hCG....it has been prescribed to me for low total T, low FSH, and slightly low LH, with all the physical symptoms that I am having in an attempt for my body to make enough test on its own...I also have a high estradiol level. I will be taking 400 iU every 3 days until I use up 10,000 iU's total in order to get my body back producing on its own.

First question - Is this the correct thing to take? Won't hCG suppress my LH and FSH or is it just intended to "kick start" things. I won't be taking it at high doses or for a long time....once I get off, will my FSH and LH go up? A little confused here.

Second - is this level high enough for a concern for increased estradiol? What are some good ways to combat this. I am supplementing 100 mg zinc a day and staying away from alcohol. Has anyone tried any natural inhibitors that are good?

You already have estradiol? Your doctor isn't addressing this? That's not a good sign. You may need to find a new doctor.

HCG is not for kick starting your hypothalamus. Clomid or nolvadex are for this. HCG is for kick starting the testes, reversing atrophy and getting them to produce T. And yes, LH and FSH will decrease even further on HCG. Once you get off the HCG, your LH and FSH will go up, but I don't see why they will go up any higher than pre HCG.

Why not just go on regular trt? Is this steroid induced? If so, then there are better protocols for restarting endogenous T production.

No, it is not steroid induced, unless I took a contaminated substance...I am not going on regular trt bc that is for life and I am 23...not a good idea. I am only doing natural things to combat estradiol right now, no drugs....
