HCG Dosage Question - What is too high?

I have been diagnosed with low Testosterone.

I have been taking HCG in a cycle of 1000 IU two times a week. I inject myself subcutaneously (not intramuscular). An HCG cycle of 6 weeks on, 2 weeks off of the HCG. Is this too high/frequent?

My doctor doesn't seem to be an expert and I'm nervous this is too high.

He also wants me to take 25 mg DHEA daily and 25 mg pregnenolone daily.

I'm pretty nervous and don't want to screw up my body permanently.

Please help.
 
Is he attempting a restart protocol? Or is this an attempt at HRT?

I am not really sure Manbeast. He thinks I have low T. Bloodwork said 75 free testosterone and 310 testosterone (reference scale of 300-1080). I also had low follicle stimulating hormone - 1.7 (reference scale of 1.3-19.4)
 
Hmmm, that dose does sound a bit high for maintenance from what I've read, but if he's attempting a restart it isn't crazy.
 
If it isn't for more than a few months you should be ok. if you are scared, split it up into 4 doses at 500iu each.
