HCG and PCT. Why?

I don't understand why a steroid user would run a high dose post cycle HCG protocol. Why not just run a low dose of HCG (250iu three times a week) throughout and after the cycle like many folks on HRT do? It would seem this would be safer and preferable to shrinking nuts.

Good point. HCG for PCT is an old school idea. HCG should be taken during a cycle and really important for longer cycles.

I have seen it recommended for guys coming off long term TRT. Im not sure if you would call this a normal PCT situation though.
