HCG and pain

I did a Sub q shot yesterday in my lower ab region that didn't hurt at that time. As time went on the area around the shot became red and felt a little painful, not crazy pain but..
today it still somewhat painful, it seems to be subsiding but just wanted some feedback if this is normal with HCG insulin shots.

be sure to shake the HCG before injecting, its likely it recrystalized a little for a short time .. no big deal
