Have i stayed exactly the same over the past 10 years???

Invalid Link Removed

Or have I gotten better / worse? My avatar pic is me 9 or 10 years ago, and I just took a current pic tonight that I'm attaching. It's tough analyzing yourself, that's why I ask. No I'm not fishing for compliments, I'm sure most of you dudes are bigger and more cut etc.

This is one of the reasons why people start AAS! I've stayed 100% natty until now, not even PH's, but now that I'm 30 I've really changed my attitude about juicing. After I finally start Test E 400 mg / week in mid-late April, I will probably make more progress in 10 weeks than I have in the past 10 years. Sad, but true...

10 years and exactly the same, if not worse. That's not the worst thing in the world, but we all want to think that we haven't really peaked yet and putting in thousands of hours and staying at the same level kinda blows!!!

Honestly man, it's really hard to judge.. the pictures are ****ty. Id say the newer one you do look leaner, maybe even a little bigger (but like i said- ****ty pictures).
but lets get serious man. Look at the scale, look at your conditioning... If your scale says the same thing it did 10 years ago, and you have about the same conditioning, something is fundamentally wrong- at the level of your training or your diet. (no offense) but there is NO way in hell that you can't gain even a single pound of muscle over the past 10 years..
progress takes a long time, and if you havent been training consistently over the past 10 years then dont say that you have. ie you train for a month, and take a month off, and rinse and repeat- **** like that wont cut it. I'm talking consistently busting your ass day in and day out man, going to the gym and spilling your heart out every session.
Have you even gotten serious about your training? ya alot of people say they train hard and often, but when it comes down to it- theyre really half assing in the gym, and they're really only fooling themselves.

I suggest you look into your training and nutrition before you start playing around with your hormones... If you cant gain over the peroid of 10 years naturally, then why would steroids make you magically "gain" ?
Sure. they work, and they work well, but if you're not doing it right, you'll either A- lose most gains you make (more than likely) or B- not even gain at all.

again, not trying to be negative, i wish you the best of luck.

but be true to yourself brother, look yourself in the mirror and ask yourself "Have i REALLY been training my ass off for the last 10 years, not skipping workouts (SQUATS / LEG DAY) and not missing meals (1-3x meals a day aint gonna cut it). Have I REALLY even been training to failure? Or have I been living a lie, going through the motions? Have i been DRINKING and doing DRUGS or anything counterproductive to my training?"
.. there lies the problem(s)

edit:: just fyi i am 100% natural, and I have been lifting for about the past 8 years, i went from a skinny fat little bitch 115lbs freshman year highschool, and now 8 years later im sittin at 185, decently lean (8-10%)

I hear you man, you're right that you can always improve in areas but listen you're younger than I am. When I hit 20-22ish that's definitely a lot easier to gain and maintain lean mass. I've been training from age 14 to 30, so 16 years i.e. double what you have (by no means putting you down I'm simply older than you) and the second 8 is a LOT harder to not plateau than the first 8, trust me.

That being said, you are right my friend there are always places to look that people don't even think about - drinking a little too much, eating a little too much popcorn at the movies, etc, but I've been pretty damn consistent over the past 16 years and although I'm stronger in a lot of areas (let's call it old man strength) and maybe more solid I just realized it's been 10 damn years and I'm relatively the same level of bodybuilding. I might have been 190 then and I'm about 204 now, but I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing haha...

Anyway I'm gonna switch up my workout one more time, but I have to say I plan on finally going to the dark side. When I was your age brother trust me, I never thought I'd consider using AAS, but after a while everyone plateaus and once you round the big 3-0, at least for me, you get curious.

To use, or not to use.... That's a question only you can really answer. All of us can give you our opinions and experiences, but at the end of the day its your body. Only advice I can give you is to know everything that you can about using your drug of choice and then make your decision.

Couldn't be more true brother. 10 years ago I was too young for AAS, but now at least I have a choice:)

Maybe get your bloods checked if that is an option for you. There is a sticky around here where you can get bloods done for relatively cheap.

I'm in NYC so I know it's different for NY, NJ and a couple other places. If anyone knows how to get cheap bloodwork in these areas I'm all ears!!! Thanks bro..

Oh yeah man by no means was i trying to insult you or anything.. Whatever you do end up doing, i wish you the best of luck!

And yes, you're definitely right you can't keep growing and growing w/out a plateau.-- Although I do feel like now, moreso than ever my training is getting better as i learn my body more and try new things out..

just another thought, but I think you should try to change up your training...
